Its no different from the original except they sharpened the music and added extra drums.
Either way, its nostalgic as hecc.
No different being the keyword, they used the mono mix and threw in those drums to make the whole thing sound like it's in stereo.
If it isn't broke, don't fix it.

The drums definitely sound different but everything else seems to be untouched. Sounds really good.

@@steamedrice97 Pretty sure it was a small laugh, If I remember correctly, she does a little taunt alongside the laugh in the original. Although she just does the arm taunt in rehydrated.
Actually, i know wikis are sometimes wrong but it states that robo sandy is completely mute, and that that "laugh" youre talking about is just a sound to signify her taunting

This theme among the others is just…different. Comparatively you’ve got themes like Jellyfish Fields, Goo Lagoon, and Bikini Bottom which are all pretty happy-go lucky. But then you get to this theme is it’s just🎸🤘🏻

During this fight, I like the old one more. The new one's bit bigger, it's texture is LEGO-like, and... Also the stage is medium small.
This game is still the best Spongebob game out there.
Cosmic shake sadly couldnt beat it.
Haven’t played the original but I liked that version of the boss fight better.
The fact that they removed the frankinstien walk cycle sucks.
It's still there to some extent, but it ultimately made the fight feel unnecessarily slow.
They're going too easy on the younger generation. Pretty much every major boss fight and even the Dutchman got a nerf in their attack patterns or attack speed/accuracy.
The only two that I noticed that were the same were King Jelly and Prawn. The rest were heavily nerfed.
Reminds me of the Spyro Reignited Trilogy remake that they did where they made everything easier to do except controls. Controls were the exact same, but the bosses and even some levels were far easier in there.
I remember vividly staying up for an hour or two past my bedtime as a young lad trying to beat Spike and his god forsaken arena. The fact his attacks were nearly dead on every time and as fast as the speed of sound made it VERY hard to dodge. But in the remake, he loses 1 electrical shot from each phase (IE: Phase 1 shoots 1 instead of 2. So on and so forth.) And he doesn't hardly ever move around. Whenever I played he'd try to chase me down and smack me into a pancake from halfway across the field.

@@m.a.k.dynasty4504 I haven't played the Rehydrated or the original game (for some reason I just never did) but it looked physically easier.
As for the Spyro games the only one I had trouble with WAS Spike. Everything else was pretty easy. (Pre and Post- Reignited Spike is now easy to me due to how many times I had to play through it because my mom couldn't beat him. I was talking about back when I was a kid and this stuff was the only thing I had to occupy myself with.
I’d actually argue that Robo Patrick and Spongebob were a bit tougher than the original versions

Can't say I'm a fan of this mix. The original is messy, but I liked the feel of it, whereas this one is still messy but has bizarrely clean drums.
This woulda been alright for the original game. I don't really see how this would match 2020. I probably woulda made it sound more like a Drum N Bass remake if anything

It wasn't small, that's how the map is. It seems small because they went with the top down camera for the boss fight, plus the new running animation closed the distance between you and the squirel faster than the Frankenstein walk that both versions have.
Hated they changed it, but modders will get a fix for that soon.
@@LTurmoil47 I read somewhere that you can change the camera angle to what it was like in the original by disabling the smart cam in the option.
At least, Revamped Robo-Sandy will look a bit more intimidating.

They only make the sound clearer and add in a few instruments. The music doesn't really need a total overhaul.
