@@ConstructionDifferentlySA Sure. My understanding of your explanation is that you refer to declaration of interest as an expression of interest or similar. Would the Declaration of interest not be " "disclosure of relationships etc?"
Afternoon, I did not understand the quotation vs tender part, can you please explain further in that, and I also was pleading to ask if it's possible to work on different construction work at the same time, for instance being a general contractor, renovation contractor and material supplier contractor.
I'm in my first year of mechanical engineering at VUT and I've already opened/registered a business name under CIPC using FNB business account. By the time I'm done with diploma, my company name will be 2.5 years old/running... Would this be advantageous for me to get a tender? And Thank you for such content!
Hi Philile thank you so much for sharing, this was very informative. how do we connect if we have more questions about climbing up the CIDB grades and getting contracts that fall within that category.
Hey Girl, Thank you for sharing this. I have an issue not sure if you'll be able to give some advice but anyway my distributors are withholding a delivery note (they've delivered the goods) now the buyer says they are unable to release payment without it, do you perhaps know a way around this?
Will registering a business that is not making any money have tax implications? I'm employed full time in the private sector. At what point, once you start making money, do you advise hiring someone to deal with tax etc or is it something that can be done on e-filing?
Hey Giselle, Personally I didn’t pay any tax when my business hadn’t taken off yet but you going to need an accountant at some point cos even if you’re not operational you still going to need to file your returns to renew your tax certificate ( that’s if you’re lazy like me and won’t do it yourself) I’m no finance person but I say always have an accountant on hand just in case ( I’ve worked with some affordable ones hit me up if you need the deets)
Some advice: Do NOT register as a VAT vendor until you absolutely have to (I think that's above 2 million turnover, not too sure). It's a headache, a nuisance that nobody pays you for and you're almost always gonna be behind if you don't have a bookkeeper. And when you're behind, your tax pin betrays you on everything else you try and do afterwards.
