I always park hopped at between 11am-noon. This is great!!!!! Its also great for lunch reservations. Then you have more options for food at both parks.
The biggest new News for Disneyland Resort... Tron has broken ground in Disneyland🤨🙄 You can see the new construction already over in Toon Town. I have been told it is being called - 'Mickry and Minnie's Runaway Tron Light Cycle, Perfect Run" 🤓🧐🥸😎
David chose an amazing resort to stay at. I stayed at Gran Destino Tower last month with my dad & he love staying at the tower in the Coronado Springs Resort.

Here at WDW day guestes are still only park hop at 2pm but in few months we, WDW APs can go to any park except MK on the weekends without a park reservation and no hotel parking fees and G+ will include ride photos.

I’m so Happy 🥳👏🏼🥳👏🏼🥳👏🏼to hear about Porto’s coming to Anaheim. When a person like me doesn’t drive, taking my mobility scooter & the bus to Buena Park (from here in Anaheim) is some times a Big Struggle. Done it several times and it’s hard, so hearing that a New Porto’s coming to Anaheim is Wonderful 🥳👏🏼🎉🥳👏🏼🎉🥳👏🏼🎉 I can just roll down the street with my scooter and not have to worry about a thing. My family and I are Always buying there Cakes, Pastries & there other goodies they offer, for ALL of our Birthdays, other Holiday needs & get together’s. No joke, they Love Our Family because we have 8 people in our home and each one of us gets whatever kind of Cakes, Pies or even tarts (those are my favorite plus Apple pie) for there birthdays. Our 1st Birthday starts This January, 1 Birthday in April, 5 in May, 1 in June & Mine in November, but then I get More goodies for “Mother’s Day” as well. WooHoo 🥳🎉👏🏼🥳🎉👏🏼 Lucky me & my daughter ☺️☺️☺️ Again Thank you David for so much Great info & All the hard work and time that you and your lovely little family put in so we can be all caught up to date with our “ Magical Home away from home.” I miss my OTHER HOME 😭😭😭 Lord willing, soon my family and I will be Back at Disneyland, but we’ll see because money is very tight right now and we’re probably going to have to move and it might be to Riverside, but we’ll see. Do you think Universal Studios Florida is better than Universal Studios you would be correct but what you also don’t know is Halloween horror nights at universal Orlando is 1 million times better than the one at Hollywood because there’s no escalators and they don’t break it up to where you have to walk 1 million different miles to get to different Haunted houses I mean yeah you have to do some walking but there’s no going up and down hills or escalators to get there or having to take trans to get from the top to the bottom the only plus Halloween horror nights in Hollywood was the fair tram now that made the whole night worth it because you get to get off the tram at Halloween horror nights in Hollywood and walk the sets and we got to see the set of that movie US and NOPE! Not to mention all the scary actors that they had it was just fantastic then we got to go inside this makeshift hon mansion and walk around and just see everything up close which they never allow when you’re on the tour so that made it all worth it but still nothing beats Universal Orlando And Islands of adventure
Omg so much news for one day! You missed Tron 😂 but I think Earls taking over la brea would be a perfect location, especially on your way into the parks to pick up a sandwich! Tavern sounds cool but I hope they don't stop serving the sandwiches quick service style though, like you said it's always been a great affordable option. The park hopping news is great and the Florida reservation news too! Going to wdw end of April and I'm hoping that I can remove my reservations by then so I can go to any park I want! Oh David! I thought you were saying Disneyland was opening up AP visitation after two :-( hopefully they follow suit from the bigger brother, I am happy to hear that Earl of Sandwich is coming back. I was so pissed when they pulled it out but I understand why to make way for the new construction. I love that place Peter and KitraI did a review and that’s what got me going there in Man ! that food is good :-) I love the turkey cranberry! And my girlfriend loves the Monteque. I’m also happy that Portos is going to be going in down there. I think that has become a SoCal staple and that will give further exposure to their company as well as provide locals with something that is familiar. Well, stay tuned until the next update, I suppose lol. Thank you for keeping us all updated. Kind of wish that they would do something with the ESPN, or even the back part of the rainforest Café and make it like a Star Wars themed restaurant. That would be kind of cool.
We just went. It was nice without a large crowd before 10. By 1 the honeymoon was over and it was packed. This was the first day back to school and it was raining.
Can't wait to get a pass! Let us know as soon as they're available to buy. I missed it last time because they literally shut down sales in less than one day.

Keep in mind Catal, Uva and Tortillas Joe’s are all run by the Patina Group (as is Naples), so they may choose to keep all of them open for awhile at least.
My brother is a manager at Naples and he hears about things way before the public does. So far there has been no talk of Tortilla Joe's closing. It's a very profitable restaurant for the Patina Group.
Also! (And I’m sure you’ll get to this when you return to California) but Adventureland is a dead end after Jungle cruise and Bengal. It’s walled off, which I thought was for Indy/treehouse work but it turns out via a CM that they’re doing a walkway redo like they did in NO square for Ada and will be done at the end of Jan
Thanks David. As an international muffin (NZ) that news was a relief to me. Last visit 6 yrs ago I was at the parks 11 days and got an AP as it was cheaper. Planning my next trip now had me worried about not getting magic key and missing out on days with limited reservations. PS when I do come back I will bring more treats for you and Liz.
I'm guessing Porto's will be expanding the old footprint of LaBrea. If you've ever been to a Porto's, you know that they attract tons of foot traffic and have accompanying fairly large building footprints to accomadate this. I expect some crazy foot traffic not just when it opens in downtown Disney, but just big attractor of guests well into the future.

The bar staff at Tortilla Joe’s told me that they would be moving to the Catal site in the near future. That would make a fantastic open air bar area and the restaurant would take over the indoor site.
Ride photos: Splash Mountain, like you said, Space Mountain, Radiator Springs Racers and Incredicoaster. The thing is, I can't remember if Big Thunder Mountain has ride photos or not. I don't think it does. Also, does Grizzly River Run have ride photos?
Good news for both parks, and really good to hear that you're enjoying your time in Orlando. We're big Disney fans, but can't help but be impressed at Universal in Orlando. They do a great job as well. I still think Disney is better, but Universal knocked it out of the park when they got Harry Potter, and have been improving since then.I personally believe that Harry Potter forced Disney to step up their game and not rest on their laurels.
Yay I love earl of sandwich 🤤 I never thought La Brea had a good enough variety of food. Very little for too much money and my experiences weren’t great.

Anyone know what the most current way to insure getting to ride Rise of the Resistance at least once on a Saturday going to Disneyland? A couple years ago I learned how to use the boarding pass method and had I not watched videos like that of Fresh Baked, no way we would have known how to get on Rise of the Resistance. I’d rather not stand in a 2+ hour queue. Is there a paid way? Is there a best time of the day to ride? Rope drop go straight there? I bought Genie+ as an add on to my one day admission but I’m pretty sure Rise is not a ride that is you can use Genie+ to get a Lightning Lane return time. Lightning Lane is the thing right? There’s also a paid Lightning Lane? Thanks.
I really hope you aren't right about tortilla Joe's. Its family style where the new one is going to be fine dining. Also I'm not sure if catals replacement is an upgrade as catal was already too expensive for me
The sale of Magic Keys would only affect cash flow in the period the key is sold and probably not the Revenue. If you sell a Magic key on 12/31 for $1,200 for the year you don't get to book the full 1,200 on 12/31. You recognize the revenue ratably ($100/mo) over the next 12 months going forward as you provide the service and Disney earns the revenue.

I was so shock I was able to get the SoCal Image Key Pass a few days ago. I wasn’t even on queue around 9:30pm.
So excited for the downtown Disney refresh especially after seeing Disney springs we definitely needed an upgrade

Good news for both parks, and really good to hear that you're enjoying your time in Orlando. We're big Disney fans, but can't help but be impressed at Universal in Orlando. They do a great job as well. I still think Disney is better, but Universal knocked it out of the park when they got Harry Potter, and have been improving since then.I personally believe that Harry Potter forced Disney to step up their game and not rest on their laurels.
So happy that Earl’s will soon be serving up food again in Anaheim!! Curious about the tavern thing though.
Yay I love earl of sandwich 🤤 I never thought La Brea had a good enough variety of food. Very little for too much money and my experiences weren’t great.
Hoping no reservations for WDW cast members after 2pm is next! Would be so nice to spontaneously go to the parks after work again!

Anyone know what the most current way to insure getting to ride Rise of the Resistance at least once on a Saturday going to Disneyland? A couple years ago I learned how to use the boarding pass method and had I not watched videos like that of Fresh Baked, no way we would have known how to get on Rise of the Resistance. I’d rather not stand in a 2+ hour queue. Is there a paid way? Is there a best time of the day to ride? Rope drop go straight there? I bought Genie+ as an add on to my one day admission but I’m pretty sure Rise is not a ride that is you can use Genie+ to get a Lightning Lane return time. Lightning Lane is the thing right? There’s also a paid Lightning Lane? Thanks.

The sale of Magic Keys would only affect cash flow in the period the key is sold and probably not the Revenue. If you sell a Magic key on 12/31 for $1,200 for the year you don't get to book the full 1,200 on 12/31. You recognize the revenue ratably ($100/mo) over the next 12 months going forward as you provide the service and Disney earns the revenue.
