🫡 I salute you and your brother! Thanks for the Welcome Home! Though belated, it still means everything! Your brother knows and you probably know as well.!!! At the time of our Homecoming, returning to our beloved country which we fought for! We were not given a welcome home boys reception by many people here in the USA‼️😡😩🤷🏽♂️ That’s just how it was. Now I just think, “F” them! They never served so how the F*%k would they know what it was like? We lost a bunch of good people there, and I lost personal friends! Every single one of those lost and those who returned deserved a “Welcome Home” Soldier, Marine, Sailor, Air Cavalry Pilots, Door Gunners, etc., Corp Man, Nurse, and so on and on‼️❤️🇺🇸👍🏽

I did 2 tours in Nam 1968,69,70 marine corps 1/7 Charlie Company. 0311 MOS God bless all those that didn’t make it home.

I was young 19 /20 yrs old. Watching friends and relatives dieing for an unwinnable war. Great casualties for the military as well as the civilians of the country caught up in the cross fire. No one in their right mind would willingly choose to have been there
People love to say we lost that war. We forced north Vietnam to sign a peace treaty that was NOT in their favor. So not a loss, even though we could have walked into the north any time we chose and flattened them. The political climate wasn't conducive to that, and could have lead to a much MUCH greater war.
So yeah, nobody wanted to be there, and a lot of people died for no reason. But we didn't lose.
Love to say ?? Mate your an idiot. Only some brainwashed patriot clown would believe that. There aint no north and south vietnam. You trued to fkatten them and they owned you . Just like Afghanistan, korea and every other proxy war youve started since ww2.

I'd would have went, but then again I volunteered for Iraq, got out and volunteered for Afghanistan. I guess I'm a different breed.

It would be nice to go back to this period of time and stay there for ever ❤❤!! The people, the drugs, the music 🎶, just a much simpler time, the amount of fun and the travel was so awesome! Imagine being 21 and being with friends and going across the country, good weather and beautiful places to go, those evening's during the summer, every footstep with your most beautiful people!! Laying under the stars 🌟 at night in a sleeping bag with your beautiful girl and making love ❤️ 😍
