I have the same problem with the handle falling apart on my Californian TCP-4000 that you had with your 3000 ITX. The rubber looks to be idential. The Californian has a hex shaft with a center threaded hole, so I think the Gomexus would work, but don't want to get stuck with a knob that wont work!
That's going to be my next project by the way. I just got in replacement handle assembles for the ITX 3000. It's not a hex fit stem. It's a screw-in. So that leaves the knob itself. Currently there's no system offered by Gomexus to handle an ITX spinner. So i'll be doing some pre-lim work for Gomexus USA. Just yesterday i received a few original handles from Okuma so will start this today. So far from what i've seen a rounded knob may not work but i'll open her up & start measuring. By the way the new ITX line was officially announced today in an email for sale.
