2/20/24 🇯🇲 If these companies ever listen to their valued influencers then they shoukd start by adding lace from ear to ear for the same price so the unit can be versatile & NOT 🚫use the lace as double lace UNDER. I'm updating my response. I agree with everything Mary K Bella has stated.
I purchased the first unit in chocolate just to see if it was as pretty in person. My mom saw it and fell in love. Needless to say, it's hers now. So I purchased the second unit in black. I've worn and done these microlocs for 20 years. The wig is a little rough but it's a good alternative for those liking the style, especially at this price point.
The fibers are a little rough and the double lace isn't needed. Remove the lace and use your liquid foundation for a more realistic look.

There is something about loc wigs that are so itchy, but they are beautiful. I just bought one that was absolutely gorgeous but couldn't wear it for a full day. And that double lace situation makes it buckle in the front and keeps it from laying flat.

Does yours shed a lot? Right out the bag, little fibers were everywhere. I did a fabric softener soak, hoping that it would help, but I still have shedding. Still love the wig though.
Did the fabric softer work? Are the curls still intact? I purchased the wig out of curiosity and I must say the locs themselves look good. While examining it my mom saw it and fell in love. It's now hers. I don't have any shedding on this unit in the chocolate color. The ombre and black color will help to hide construction in the closure area. The wig is scratchy but for less than $40 I was floored. It is a beautiful wig!

Double lace has no purpose! It's making already hard lace to melt and makes it even harder and stiffer. They should only do it if someone who likes it requests it. Other than that, regular lace and/or HD Lace work perfectly fine!
