- I've had the Dririder Adventure Votex 2 jacket for over a year now and she's done it all. Commuting, adv riding, crashing...let's see how it has held up and if I like it.

I just got the Dry Rider RX4 Textile Jacket this week have a fairly similar design little bit different I also tried a lot of different styles and brands and ended up getting this not cheap $550 it has a zipper for the pants as well as some armour extra upgrades. I moved away from leather and wanted just one set of gear and it seems to be working well.
Good to hear mate. Certainly easier having one set to do it all
Thanks for the info!
No worries, glad it was helpful
😂 I smell like a homeless person.
Deadset, it stinks after a few big rides!
Great review.. What riding pants are using with it? Cheers, thanks.
Believe it or not, none ATM. I'm looking at the matching pants or the Rally ones from Dririder
I’m super interested to hear how well the pants match the jacket and work out as a combo. Let us know if you went down that path.
Unrelated to this video sorry. But have you heard anything about the issues with the Gen 3 SRC crash bars? I went to order some today based on your videos and the US SRC moto web sight said their basically doing a recall and will have a redesigned version available mid December and replace the existing ones under warranty. Looks to be an issue with the KLR vibration causing the bars to fail.
Hoping the Ozzy ones aren't affected??
I know a little bit but can't say yet. I will most likely be getting the new bars to review. I haven't had any major issues with mine, definitely some complaints which I will mention in my review
There were only 2 failures and the bars that failed were fitted to bikes with lowered pegs (nutshell: more stress was placed on the bars due to the mounting pressure from moving the mounting points). That said, SRC redesigned and strengthened them so that there’ll be zero problems in the future. All prior models are sold out and the two customers with breakages have been looked after.
Hmmm interesting 🤔
Still got it, good jacket. It is hot in QLD summers though
@@onthebackwheel that is one of the jackets I'm considering buying, and your review was good as it is making think more....thank you 🙂
@@johnrovere2286 glad I could help. Good luck on your search
@@onthebackwheel thank you hahaha I'm slowing getting my gear together before I do a long trip
@@johnrovere2286 its a bit like that! Shes a slippery slope with all the gear you can get
