Just like the muffler on your car ,which every state requires , to reduce the noise level of a vehicle, suppressors are a muffler for a firearm to protect your hearing and are used for self-defense in the home to keep from damaging tour hearing.

NFA bans sbr's and sbs's = not many people have them = not in common use and subject to regulation. They would 100% be in common use if they were readily available!
The ones that limited the types of NFA guns you mentioned never wanted those sbr’s and sbs’s to be readily available legally because they wanted to maintain control of the regulations on those items. When the British Empire was trying to seize colonial arms and munitions in 1775 one of the most feared weapons was the grapeshot gun which was similar to short barreled shotgun spread. It turns out grapeshot was just as feared by tyrants throughout history because it could take out several soldiers in one shot back in colonial days. Guns that are extremely effective are the ones the government tries to regulate the most.
So please explain to me, if it is not an arm then how does it fall under the National Firearms Act...So it is not a firearm then the ATF has no jurisdiction over Suppressors.

Why do these judges get to make their own laws? They selectively argue the legal and illegal application of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights and fail to apply them all equally. And fail to apply the very first Article and first Section. That states: "All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives." My point being the lower courts are making laws, which is not in their authority. It is Congress that are the law makers for the nation. Yes, States have the right to make laws that do not interfere or counter the U.S. Constitution or it's Bill of Rights. Or the Rights of the People as stated under the 9th Amendment. So, if this judge and the Circuit he or she is under is changing the laws as written, that is not legal.

Originally it was included so the wealthy land owners could hear when folks were poaching on their land. It was fully endorsed by the NRA at the time as being a pertection of land owners over hunting rights and it's control.

Since they are not firearms, the ATF should have no right to regulate them....non-tax stamp suppressors for everyone!

Osha should require suppressors on loud rifles for ear protection. Osha requires ear protection around liud machines in the workplace.

Check out HB 548 in Missouri legalizing ‘Made in Missouri’ supressors similar to the TX bill that passed in 2021

If anything, suppressors should be required in certain uses of firearms as a safety issue for hearing protection.

Originally it was included so the wealthy land owners could hear when folks were poaching on their land. It was fully endorsed by the NRA at the time as being a pertection of land owners over hunting rights and it's control.

The entire NFA and GCA needs to be dismantled. We don't pay taxes to use any of our other Constitutional Rights
If suppressors aren't arms, then the NFA doesn't apply, BUT as accessories ARE OPEN TO STATE CONTROL. "Shall not be infringed. "
