I am giving you a “BIG THUMBS UP” your videos are so interesting to say the least. You have a nice looking rig - it had that mean look to it with it’s nice aluminum wheels. It would be neat to have the red chain decals on your KW run from your truck along the sides of your Jeep - Stinger and Trailer. It might look like everything part is chained together from your truck on back. I drew it up on my computer and it looked awesome and unlike any other rig out there. Thanks LT. Col. Sergei stay safe and well...Cheers
I think you needed to loosen those 2"" nuts and put thicker shims between the deck and you axles, that would lower the hinge point on the stinger and enabled you to run 2+2
Dont the boom slide up and down. Or in and out. If it does then try and move it forward rather than the machine. Just trying to help find other methods. Good luck and god bless from southeast texas
I saw you have air gauges to guess at load weight. Are you considering on board scales? So you can load correctly first time every time and know immediately gross.
Another great Dratchev production. Great to be recording such occasions. Every day is a school day. Worry about tomorrow when it comes. Get some proper healthy food, vitamin D which is mostly got from exposure to the sun but also in supplement form, very important now with the virus. Have to say I was pretty disappointed with the stinger but your never say die attitude will get it sorted. Stay safe Serguei and we'll see you in the next one👍
I don't think you could blow those bags on the Stinger if you put it in the maximum position, All that equipment is coming from the con Expo they just had, there's a lot of big equipment there.👍
Dunnage / blocks under front of track will raise machine up to go over neck a few more inches...... done it before to tuck bucket under stick to get heights down in rear.
Bob Smith Explain why? After 40 years have hauled many many unlevel front to rear loads. 😂. Just have to watch height... ( sometimes how you get height legal) you do realize i meant blocks/ boards length wise. ( probably only 5-10 feet of track)Its done all the time. May not look good to your eyes but i assure u it goes no place. It sometimes is done to get the rear down lower...example lower CG also. I am sure Serg knows all about this running a RGN.
Good Job Serguei. It is nice knowing you are so dedicated to keeping your rig and equipment safe and secure. I always enjoy watching your videos although I am a retired railroader. +++
567 Pete. Not a big fan of how it looks but I love the rest of the truck. Mine will be three years old in June and it’s probably been the best truck I have ever owned. The most important thing I learned when pulling a tandem Jeep was the farther ahead you can get the load the better 👍🏻
Hey Captain. I notice that the machine you are hauling has a very long boom and it's all the way to the rear. Could you move the boom toward the truck to even out the weight. Thanks for the video's there GREAT. GOD BLESS Rick
I’m always running 3+1. The only pain - got to load back more than front to distribute the weight evenly. 2+2 might be more forgiven. Or maybe not. I don’t know.
All that work in Cambridge converting to 2+2 from 3+1 and having to drive 2,500 miles and then having to switch back to 3+1 is a pain and by the sound of it colonel wasn’t to easy to do. As always be safe and we’ll keep watching
i'll switch back to 2+2 when I have the proper shims for the spreader... will change out the deck shim too when i have a load like this. the blue one i have in right now (medium size) is too small when running 2+2.
i'm thinking you should have just went with a nitrogen spreader bar and all your problems you have now would be gone. common air boosters work but the jc booster looks like something from 1950
@@Aintright890 money does play a part in it but also the stinger itself, from what i can see jc trailers were out of there league building sergei his booster, the booster they built him is from over 30 years ago when all they had to do was build him a simple common air booster with shims and he would be laughing but they went and over complicated things with stuff that never really worked and now he's stuck with it. a std common air booster would be working perfectly with a 2+2 config, or a 3+1 without any issues. Me personally i would have went with a nitrogen spreader and setting up the booster would be a breeze.
Thanks you Serguei..Am not an expert here, but your ride hight on you rear truck axels looked a bit high, would or could that affect the back end of your trailer causing a it to "bow" on the stinger ? if im wrong i will be quiet qnd go stand in the corner.. Thanks Serguei..
I was there that day it was sooooo many lowboys and RGNs there omg I saw you as well I love watching your vids because I use a RGN now but I want to move my way up to that heavy haul 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Colonial Sergei. would it be good to take picture of the back be for you go to J R trailer to show them the space and air bags so they can see you problem what you are talking about
I know! but this machine has a screwed up center of gravity/mass. If it didn't have the boom it'd fine where it was... The boom makes everything worse, and puts too much weight on the first 1/3 of the tracks, which overloaded the trailer.
I’ve got loaded day earlier. In Nebraska already. There was a million of loads because expo was over. I don’t know how you pull into those tight azz truckstops like that Petro. I’m trying to avoid them. I’ll meet you next time. My setup is not as capable as yours but my stinger and flip neck are hydraulic. I am totally autonomous and never looking for forklifts or cranes. Learned a lot from your journey in heavy haul. So you saved me a lot of time. Thank you!
At the 3rd axle booster area, could a metal fab shop make a shim that would fill the gap then bend at 90° and lay on the frame on the side of the ears??
Love the channel Colonel, you probably already thought about it and maybe there just isnt enough room but is sliding your fifth wheel an option that may transfer enough weight? Good luck and stay safe out there!
sliding the fifth wheel on the truck only changes the balance of weight between the steer axle and the drives. it does nothing for the load on the trailer axles. To change the load on the trailer, you have to: 1) move the load on the deck 2) move your axles further away -- increase the bridge -- make the rig longer.
Wow Serguei looks like you had a big day reconfiguring the trailer! The oil prices dropped so badly in Alberta that they might have to ship that rig back to where it came from. Thats a real heavy haul truck stop. Get some rest.
Wow I can't believe You even put in the red shim inBetween the bogey in the spar deck Well I guess I can believe it that's part of building a trailer the factory never knows you get a spec it out Yourself Looks like every Hall you'll learn something else or another No matter how much experience someone has
I met you here at the Petro N Las Vegas. I’m from MB I told you Love to watch your vids I recommend get in contact with NASTC just google it They have an awesome fuel card for guys like you and me Saves BIG money trust me bro
Sir ""ADMIRAL"" SERGUEI !!! Great Guns !!! WHAT NEXT !!! As you say ""Learning experience """ Be careful moving that machine !!! LOOK AT ""TWC"" as that winter storm might be right in your path going NORTH !! ""KEEP IT SAFE & Waiting for tomorrow's video !!!!
It was a pleasure to meet you in Las Vegas, safe travels to Canada, looks like snows headed our way so be safe Colonel!

Amazing amount of prep work to get ready for the road some huge equipment and nice trucks be safe thanks for show

now you're telling me ;)
I can't see the Peterbilt to well, but it sounds like a model 567.
Colonel, good luck undoing the chains and moving the rig. I look forward to hearing about your route back to Alberta. 👍
Dont the boom slide up and down. Or in and out. If it does then try and move it forward rather than the machine. Just trying to help find other methods. Good luck and god bless from southeast texas

Pete 567, we have one at work and love it.

i know, but the top is at 13-10 now.. i didn't want to make it higher, plush it's a pretty heavy machine!
Serguei Dratchev you do ok get more weight on drives and jeep?.....have safe trip!
George Vinson been in that boat before....we become pretty good riggers, mechanics, drivers moving equipment.....👍
Bob Smith 😎 been with me 48 years...... thanks. Hope stay around a little longer 🥴
Need to redo the air plumbing so that's it's only running one air leveling valve for all 8 bags on the trailer
that's what i have.
Then the front of the trailer need to come up to put more weight on the rear
Serguei, enjoy your channel. I was a trucker for 42 years, my last 20 years was with Conway. Be safe out there and best of luck.
Great video!!
Good Job Serguei. It is nice knowing you are so dedicated to keeping your rig and equipment safe and secure. I always enjoy watching your videos although I am a retired railroader. +++
I think its a 567 peterbilt. I have been looking at those myself.
That’s what it is. I have one. It’s been an awesome truck

Considering all those air hoses to connect and disconnect maybe the Wabco Triomatic or Duomatic quick connector would be the thing?

Your on top of it Colonel! Prevail! 🤙🤙
First confirmed case in Kingman az.lady works at the cracker barrel . Plan your stops carefully
Could The section on top the trailers turn table be a deck extension for the well.? Good luck moving the rig tomorrow!
Holy overkill for that PC360
You definitely earn your money 💰👍

Cool movie Sergei 🍿👍
Moving load forward if not enoff wondering if you can move part of the pill on towards the truck got to get closer to 80000 in the back
360 Komatsu is around 80,000 pounds
Hey Sergei what size chains do you use
1/2", of course ...
eventually im sure a 3+2 might help in some situations
That was a big set up for a komatsu 360.
Wow Serguei looks like you had a big day reconfiguring the trailer! The oil prices dropped so badly in Alberta that they might have to ship that rig back to where it came from. Thats a real heavy haul truck stop. Get some rest.
Colonial Sergei. 👍🏻
Komatsu 360 said it weighs 80,000 pounds.
Thanks for sharing pull toy here

Are you going to be able to cross the border into CA. I heard it was closing for non essential traffic today..
If they close it, i'll use the Mexican tunnel.
smcliffhanger492 wasn’t spreading rumors. It was stated as a question. Hope you have a good evening.
