I blazed through The Spy and the Traitor this year. I literally could not put it down after hitting the final third of the book. It was such a gripping read!

I am scared of The Count of Monte Cristo 😂 it's my sister's favourite book of all time, but I am not prepared to commit to its 1200 pages. I set a goal og 60 books in 2023 and ended up reading 70. I am however at home, recovering from illness, so it was not that hard. Your goal for 2024 is truly ambitious! But I have a feeling you'll get there 😊 Which means loads of great reviews coming up in your channel! Happy new year! 🌸

It's so good! In news of other French epics, I actually recently purchased Les Miserables. We're going to Paris in the summer, so I figure I might as well finally read it.

I hope you enjoy them! I would recommend Birdsong in print form. I couldn't get into the audio for some reason.
The Giver of Stars was one of my 2022 favorite reads. The audiobook was excellent as well.
