No one seems to think that the stories from America had a major influence on the decision of the FAI. I think they had and am annoyed that the FAI gave them any creditability.
From what I’ve read they allege she “fat shamed” players in the US.I mean she probably told a few to lose a few pounds,they are athletes and have to stay in shape,I suppose that’s wrong these days 😂

Not politically correct: don't care, I know that in modern day the players have a lot of interference, too much of you ask me but from the vibe coming out after the Ladies world cup is absolutely shocking. Like Jack Charlton, she was given a bunch of players who, let's be honest we're well below international standard ( one or two exceptions) and she did her best to form a unit playing a certain style of football utilizing their limitations. It's not surprising that when a little success comes about out from the woodwork appears these assholes undermining what she accomplished.... Typical of IFA....
I don't think Vera ever had a chance to continue as a manager of this team. I feel like the players and federation no longer wanted her. I wish Vera the best and i know she will be fine regardless...
A real sham and shame how this turned out. The FAI should of spoke to the squad, any issues, honestly directly and if so sack her before the WC, to half and half is ass covering.
