This is a story of the fragility of boys hearts and combustion engines.

The race between Kyoichi's EVO III and Takumi's AE86 was so sad. The take away, DON'T DRIVE ANGRY. Bad things happen. Takumi killed his engine and he cried. CRIED!!!
This was a quick single race AMV that I wanted to do because I thought the song fit this race and situation.

Takumi got heartbroken by Natsuki, and he represented what he felt through his AE86 to everyone who witnessed the race... in the series they talked about how a street racer's car is an extension of their being, I'd say a soulmate/someone you share your soul with
Ryosuke said that the exhaust coming from the AE86 sounded like an enraged roar, it's literally Takumi's rage from getting betrayed by her after investing so much emotion into their bond
(remember, he doesn't go connect with people willy nilly) and how he felt at the moment where he saw Natuski get in the car of the Mercedes guy, in the race I see it as Takumi trying to reach out to them, as he visualized the Evo III as the Mercedes
In the end where the Evo III pulled ahead after proclaiming victory by doing a drift which is not his style, and as his opponent got farther and farther away, in his perspective he saw them getting further from him no matter how much he tried...as his heart realized that she won't return to him, the sheer hopelessness broke his heart, at the same time...the heart of the AE86, the engine...broke too...

Edit: This video allowed me to really take it all in and look at Takumi's technique. As well as what he did that caused the blow up.
Pretty much a engine that was worked hard and worn out. If I remember correctly the pistons connecting rods came undone or the bearing failed and that clashed with the crankshaft, sending it through the engine block.
Abridged explaination, but that's what I remember.

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... A couple of days ago I just blew up the second engine in my wannabe AE86, a.k.a. Futo Karin, in GTA 5 Online during a stunt race and now you upload this?! (this isn't a mod, but it happened because, if you land your car upside down on the backside of the roof, then the car will explode, unless it's an armored vehicle, after you jump from a ramp or something else and don't have enough time to try and land on your wheels) I think my car hates me now...
