I really hate all this. There’s no canon sexuality for characters unless the creator speaks up on it. Headcanons are just headcanons at the end of the day, and flaming someone because they do t follow YOUR headcanon isn’t right. This was blown way too much out of proportion.

As a lesbian myself I don’t understand why people can’t just headcanon IN PEACE. Headcanon are FICTIONAL not CONFIRMED. If someone wants to make straight art of Robin that’s perfectly fine or if someone wants to make Lesbian art of Robin that’s perfectly fine. Leave people alone to make things in their creative out because it’s NOT EVEN CONFIRMED IN THE FIRST PLACE
It’s bad enough when cis straight people yell at us because “they aren’t confirmed gay.theyre just the same gender and are close” (which is stupid too imo.the whole point of shipping is to just have fun,and see characters interact)

Acheron's VA also spoke out about Tectone rage bating queer people and monetizing it, which is true. He does that a lot with the Twitter community, so it was interesting to see a VA call him out
Pretty based of her ngl. Not everyone has to agree with what Tectone says and does, and honestly alot of what he does is just drama baiting for money. Best way to deal with that if you don't like him is to simply mute/block him without further incident.
The worst part about all this though is alot of the anger and hatred these delusioned Twitter posters had were aimed at innocent VAs who had NOTHING to do with all of this.

Tectone purposely targeted the Twitter community (which he actually admitted to rage bating to get content) and stated that he is going to monetize it. Allegra stated that that is a bad move. Said nothing about voice acting, just that you shouldn't rage bate. Making light of the situation is not a good thing either

Guys help me here, I started playing this year and the community seemed quite funny, but after this video I noticed that the hole is quite deep, so some people like to ship characters in Yuri or yaoi ships, I'm okay with that but they are trying to force down to the rest that this is the right just because of the three gems in Robin's face, so if I'm right if I use some clothes that perchance match the color of some pride flag I'm in that community, not to hate but colors aren't just a symbol of gender or anything like this, this is messed up, like ship whoever you like man but stop trying to prove that a fictional character have a gender or whatever, man respect the others they've aren't worst because they like a straight couple, neither are they homophobic, the thing is killing me, man let Firefly VA in peace, she wasn't aware of nothing, some of you guys need a session of therapy, so to get this comment done is like what you like but don't boycott what others may find attractive and doesn't force a gender or whatever to a character just based in 3% of their design, if it's messed up in real life is a bit in the game too

Its very obvious every hsr character has no confirmed sexuality due to the nature of a gacha game wanting to target as many people as they can for profit (male and female) and hoyo literally made a rule staff to not to talk about it anymore. Robin can be straight, lesbian, bi, nonbinary, or anything else you want but shes canonically none of these things.

Hoyoverse is their global branch. Implications and best friend+roommate status is the most we're ever going to get official confirmation of.

Honestly, I've been playing HSR for a long time and I don't know if it's just me but since the last few versions the amount of "shipping" posts have gone up like crazy. If it's in good/fun spirits it's fine, but some are too toxic and even downright uncomfortable - the way the "story" is laid out. I stopped reading or encouraging such posts because I like the game for the game itself, and not the "ships" or whatever.
I feel like it's been downhill ever since "genshin could never." It was funny at first because like, hey wouldn't it be cool if genshin were as generous as hsr with quality of life etc. But it outstayed its welcome and became this antagonistic thing used to put down another fandom from the same company. Maybe more and more ppl have been drawn into the game by a free 5 star and 2.0/anniversary because the amount of drama all around has gone up. I'd like to think it's still just a very vocal minority but it's become difficult to ignore. I love hsr and refuse to equate it with the more rabid and unhinged members of the community.
