Excellent. I’m a cheapskate so I’ll probably use up the reducer I have first but I’m definitely going to order some of that. Not shortening the shelf of the paint is a terrific deal.
I suppose most following this are aware, but mixing reducer along with 4050 makes a HUGE difference in how the paint sprays and adheres particularly with the original Createx that are thicker When I started airbrushing I tried using the original colors directly in my HP-CS. The constant clogging and tip dry was exceptionally frustrating. I virtually never get tip dry since I started mixing. Another thing that really helps is to keep dried paint off the caps. I watch videos on UA-cam and no one wipes their caps after dispensing paint. Big mistake IMO. It only takes one piece the size of a grain of sand to plug your tip I’ve ordered multiple things through Spraygunner and their service is unbeatable Question…you said the new reducer can be mixed with the paint and not affect shelf life. Is that still true if you mix 4050, 4021, and the paint?
Yes, Createx paints mixed with 4050 UVLS Gloss clear and 4021 Reducer have an "indefinite shelf life". That is, the sprayable mix can last for several months (years?) if not longer so long as the bottle is capped air-tight unless actually pouring paint. Every time the mixture is exposed to fresh air, some evaporation occurs, so there is a gradual thickening of the paint over time, especially if it is stored in direct light or exposed to heat, however adding more paint / 4050 / 4021 can bring back the sprayable viscosity. The mixture will not coagulate over time. Thank you.
4021 Reducer works with Mission Models Paint, every Createx Colors paint, and many (all?) other types of water-based acrylic paints. 4021 was tested with many other brands of acrylic paints and worked excellent with them all. Thank you.
Nice! Being able to mix the paints with it and store it indefinitely is a great feature to have.
thank you!
Already picked it up, and it indeed lets me spray much longer between needle tip cleanings. Good stuff!
thank you!
Already used some 4021 reducer on a project and it's amazing!
thanks!

So per your online specs, the Createx opaque colors can be thinned with 4011. So can I use the 4021 instead?
Yes, 4021 Reducer works with all Createx paints. For more, please refer to the 4021 tech data sheet available at www.creatextech.com. Thank you.
What about mixing it with Mission Models Paint (MMP)? Can you still use 4050 and 4021?

@@CreatexColors I ordered some today along with a “few” other Createx items.
thank you!
