very pretty rear bumper I'm in America and we have to search for the all metal ones. I fitted the 7" headlights to my '75 also. Beautiful car you got there.
The Automatic Enrichment Device was terrible, it made the car unreliable so I would recommend a manual choke conversion every day. I miss my Series 2 Jaguar's. The design is gorgeous!
Can you explain the test? I assume that you are feeling the pipe and if it turns cold then you know a petrol mix is being distributed thru the tube to enrichen the mixture to the cylinders. Is that pretty much the idea? After the engine warms up, the tube should no longer get cold and the rpms should decrease from around 1000 to 650? I am currently restoring a 77 and will be rebuilding the carbs and learning about this choke mechanism.
You feel like your life is worth something when you drive this car my 1978 is almost ready .
