Hello everyone, today I will do the maintenance of the iconic longines 30L mechanism. a fantastic mechanism in all respects. very high quality and accuracy and amazing simplicity! beautifully finished and brilliantly designed. the watch has no damage, it has stopped with old age. all oils and greases have dried up. after maintenance, the watch was fully operational. for maintenance I used three basic oils: moebius hp1300 mineral 8000 and synthetic 9010. three-stage cleaning process

These are the most beautiful watch mechanisms.
@@Mrrossj01 I agree !
The 30L is so beautiful to look at. I wish they had used glas casebacks back then
I agree with you, 30L are beautiful

Very nice restoration, but I feel the dial should have been cleaned. It was dirty at some places. Also +22 secs is too much after service. A little regulation could have produced better results. Nevertheless, an enjoyable video.
hello, thanks for your opinion. obviously 22 seconds is much too much, this is the result immediately after asembly. final calibration will be after two days, as all the oils will spread well. I did not touch the dial, it was the client's watch and my job was only a mechanic.
Pozdrawiam! 😀😀👌👌🥳🥳
Witam Pana !
Bardzo dziekuje :)
Like the patina on the dail...very original so I would leave it like that...but 22 sec+ after service is too much, needs regulation
