How do you get such smooth digs with the wheel loader? I'm only using the second smallest one so maybe that's the problem, but even though I have Dual joysticks and a steering wheel setup I'm struggling to get perfect flush scoops like you are.
That is a massive pit mine, i made a classic strip mine and i am planning a tunnel mine but need way more cash for building materials before i can make the mine 👍
It is a little tricky, I think what makes it difficult is it's hard to tell if you've consistently broken up the rock underneath where you can't see. So when you're scooping you're hitting something not scoopable.
Sorry I’m late to the party, just picked these game up yesterday, I’m low level like 3 I believe, 2 question what the most efficient way to level up to get better machines unlocked and 2nd where does material go when you blast it, does it automatically go in your inventory storage shed or ?
To level up quick get a fast pickaxe and just hand mind for a while it goes up fast. When your blasting depending on the explosive you use it either deletes the material completely or it converts it (stone to blasted rock) but it stays on the ground.
I believe you have to blast, Jack hammer or rip solid rock don't you? There's a tool that turns solid rock into blasted rock which can be crushed in the jaw crusher
Yes the tools are the jackhammer, ripper attachment or the fixed rippers on dozers. You can also use certain explosives to convert solid rock to "blasted rock" if you try and process it in solid form it will just pass through the system.

I know sometimes it has a lot to do with the attack angle the buckets at. But I've also been playing for 2 years so it could just be practice. 😬

Been struggling to get started with this. The loader is slow going - at least when you're still clumsy with the controls.

@@TmanjoeR ok i appreciate the info i must have used the wrong explosives because I couldn’t find it anywhere, thank you
The dozer ripper rips pretty deep from what I can tell, deeper then what is modeled on the machine.
Yea it does have a decent sized radius around it. Would be nice if we had a 3 wide tooth option though.
@@TmanjoeR comment to the dev. He's super into others suggestions on things to add.
Just letting you know if you put a drop trommel in the system it converts the solid stone over to blasted rock
Is that in beta or main build?
@@TmanjoeR that's in both builds
Put a drop trommel in with a hopper underneath and it converts it
game changed a bit since last time i saw about it it seems
For sure! We are expecting a big vehicle update and beta testing for multiplayer in a couple weeks! 😶🌫️
