I think if you added a fog effect to the pillars where you layer magenta and purple stained glass it will give you the effect you are looking for with it. That way you can put sea lanterns in the center of the pillars and they won’t really be seen through the layers of glass.

Oh actually tbf I couldve done that. Didn't think about it tbh, but that for effect works best as a floor, and the glass gradient effect wouldn't work for this build cos of the design. Good idea though 🤙
