if thats the case and ur video is out of date please make a new video thats updated and working as it seems ur so called steps only wokred on 3.6 so if we try to them on 4.0 its prolly different now

Sometimes this can happen due to the orientation of the building you are trying to edit, unfortunately I have yet to find a fix and I currently just work around it and use vertex mode and snap individual vertex, but this takes much longer to do

Haven't finished the video yet... but I come from different games where all vertices must be connected and shit so seeing you effortlessly build a room without having to worry about connected verts is blowing my mind 11:37
this is either to do with occlusions or some form of interior proxy script in your server, if you have a default server just for testing i would assume it would be the occlusion, i hope this helps

Hey, after this new blender update for some reason my character continuously falls through the floor of my interior when I load the interior. I checked the collisions file in codewalker and the entire set of collisions I made shows up. However when i implement it in my server, i just fall through the map. When I import my YMAP, all it shows in my collection is the ymap, and the hierarchy is entity. No other drop downs. Just entity and the name of the ymap, but the ymap has nothing, once you delete the first building structure, then there is nothing on the perspective screen.
yeah, I alse have this problem,the solution is that when you import the ymap,select "Skip missing entitys" and "Instance entitys", then it works perfectly just like this video.

One of my textures didn't show up, and I also had a problem where my shell showed up facing the wrong way at a nearby building. Did I do something wrong in Blender? I suspect since most of my textures worked, that one could just be wrong size or something.
if the other textures worked, that texture must have an issue, open the .ytd in codewalker and take a look at the one in question it will usually let you know whats wrong

yes, the only difference would be the way you add the things you build to the game, you would need to learn about SP streaming rather than MP which i use in this tutorial, but the build process would be the same

Might not answer but what is broken between 3.6 / 4 ? I'm sure most of this tutorial still applies except for a few minor details.

Add the plane then press g to grab and snap it to a vertex :)

Importing the ymap for the first time in blender? If so check that the building hasn't just moved to the location of the collisions
at 7:51 how do u just make an extension off one plane
The shortcut to this is "E" and then you will have an extension off of the plane.
