Ustad Ghulam Nabi Bhat Sahab, famously known as "Nabbe Band" in the valley; son of Ab Khaliq Bhagat born in Frisal, Yaripora of Kulgam district of Jammu & Kashmir, was a Kashmiri singer and music composer. He was primarily a singer of "kashmiri folk songs", and later on got adopted to every kind of kashmiri music. He was known for his vocal abilities and could perform at a high level of intensity of several hours.He was very famous for his stage shows, most prominently for "Bachekot"-- a music form of singing with dancing. Bhat died in SKIMS Srinagar on 2nd October, 2022. His fans and all loving ones were really sad about his sudden departure.
