Great discussion! Let's not forget about Qatar's billions of dollars representing the interests of the Muslim Brotherhood to influence American higher education at Carnegie Melon, Northwestern, Cornell, Georgetown, Virginia Commonwealth. (Yes, formerly Texas A&M, but also France's Sorbonne University and Canada's University of Calgary.) AM YISRAEL CHAI 💙🙏🙏✡🙏🙏💙
Thank you for this excellent discussion. I am a US citizen, a liberal progressive, not Jewish by faith or religion, and I stand by Israel: I am disgusted by the institutionalized anti semitism, and the US policy of appeasement of terrorists.
9:50 Shahar your question. Go further back..For many years, the small community of 800 Jews in the ancient city of Hebron lived in peace with their tens of thousands of Arab neighbors. But, on the night of August 23, 1929, the tension simmering within this cauldron of nationalities bubbled over, and for a period of three days, Hebron turned into a city of terror and murder as the Arab residents led a rampaging massacre against the bewildered and helpless Jewish community.
David is making points about the legitimacy of Israel. The problem today is with the extent of anti-Israel media and anti-Israel indoctrination in our educational system, I say the following “Indoctrinated people don’t care about facts”. David was making the point that we need to look at the world as it is today, not as it was before Shahar cut him off….
I dont think I've seen a single legitmate voice critical of Israels actions in Gaza not condemn what Hamas did on Oct 7. Why on earth are we still pedalling this strawman?

‘The good nations’?
Shahar is a terrible interviewer. David was making a very important point about Jews in general and Shahar interrupted him and took him off point…

You forget to mention what the Jewish militias, the Irgun, Stern Group, Haganah and the Palmach did before and after that until the IDF was formed.

Shahar may be the worst interviewer I have ever seen. He keeps interrupting Harris as he is making very important points….
Great interview

How about condemning Israel for 75 years occupation and seige?
