I’ve been following you and enjoy the reviews. Bought the nova pro wireless headset last year and just bought the inzone buds.
Are there any foam replacements for the Sony inzone buds yet? The silicone itches my ears after awhile. Otherwise they are comfy.

I'm on PS5 and pc and these are incredible sounding, especially if you go through the app sync process, that way it really gives you a customized tone and sound personalization.
I've just gotten mine today. They have white noise, most definitely not the premium experience people claim they provide.

@@dimitrispaliaros2016You can but you must manually switch to the phone by pressing and holding the buds for like 3 seconds. And the same to go back to your PS5. This could change if they wanted to just by a firmware update.

Latency and connecting to multiple devices such as a VR headset and cell phone? Did you talk about the dongle?
Oh nice I was looking for new headphones and was so annoyed with the weight and so on
So these could be an alternative.
I always used over ear headphones but kept one ear free so I could hear other people in my house if they need help or something else
With an Ambient sound I could finally use both ears and still can hear my sourroundings
UPDATE: i was very sceptical but bought it today and im really impressed!
Sound is extremly good with the right Equalizer settings. Using them atm @movie mode. Standard "flat-Mode" are to "high" hurts sometimes.
The mic is in real usage good. My friends didnt even noticed that im not using my expensive microphone.
Battery test: after 5,5 hours : 53% left, heavy sound + mic usage. you can reach the 12 hours.
Case battery: 92% after ~50% buds load = 68% left
30ms is need for gaming
@@HeatPursuitX maybe, when your a super extreme Esport Tournament player. Than 0,1-0,3 sec makes a difference.
@@ZachalZockt Try using bluetooth on a PC then click through a menu in a game. The delay is very bad and noticeable. That is why all major gaming headsets are either wired or have a wireless dongle of some kind.

can you measure the latency of this TWS?? you can try it with virtual drumset... try hit the snare and measure the time between you hit the snare and sound coming to the TWS... thanks anw great video..
is there anyreason why my left earbud will disconnect randomly ON PC cant get them to last 5 minutes without one side of audio dying on me. been waiting for these forever and it really sucks that i cant even use them bc of the connectivity issues. cant find any solutions to the problem
Hello All, Thk U @9to5Toys for this review. I got mine since yesterday. Not tested yet with my PS5, as I was more concerned with the compatibility with my Android mobile phone. No LE Bluetooth on mine (I guess like most people these days), so I use the USB-c dongle. It works fine for the audio / music, but... but when I get a call they are disabled, as if it was a bluetooth audio speaker, and I have to take my phone to hear and be heard. Big desillusion. Does anyone meet same issue and know if there is a setting I missed somewhere please ? Thks.

Thanks for the video. I'm impressed with these earbuds. Exactly what I'm looking for to pair with my PSVR2. I'm going to hold off for now though. Sony has another pair of gaming earbuds coming (hopefully this year) I'll wait for those before I pull the trigger.

@@cattboySony has Planar magnetic earbuds (Explorer) and headset (Elite) coming soon. I thought they were supposed to launch with the PS Portal. But Sony hasn't given much info. InZone is a spin-off brand focused on PC, but can also be used on PS. It's still a little confusing. But if you want ANC. The InZone buds might be the way to go.

Question: say if I want to tweak custom equalizer preset for specific game on PS5 console, will that be transfered from Inzone HUB app on PC to earbuds and then use that specific equalizer on PS5 console? I know this was an issue with Inzone H series headsets
It doesn't unfortunately. Kind of an oversight considering you can't adjust the EQ at all on PS5 with these. I wish Sony would at least add a system wide EQ on PS5.
Is the case support wireless charging?
I didn't even know these existed. I wonder how they comapre to the Pulse Explore buds.

Consumers confused what to buy because the inzone has:
12 hour vs 5 hour battery
ANC vs no anc
Both are lossless? Or is there a difference? 30ms latency vs lower?
And for the ps5 user(consoles) both use ps software.
Is the planar really worth it ?
Which is more comfy for long periods of gaming?
Too bad the explore pulse isn’t 250$ and include anc and 12 hour battery

I personaly been using iem with az09 and antreec81 for almost 2 years now, think all up be less the 80 bucks these days, idont think these would provide any upgrade other than the battery time.
I have had these for a month now and the battery has already gone bad on one side (right). Battery life was phenomenal when it worked but now the right side doesn't charge up fully and drains much faster than the left.
Sadly every Sony earbud I have owned has developed battery issues and they are all using Zenipower cells.
I haven’t been able to adjust game and chat volume on ps5..can you not do that?
Does the charge case have QI charging?

i returned mine because of the white noise. The 12 hour battery life and audio imaging are really good and were great reasons for me to purchase the Sony Inzone buds. i appreciate Sony's honesty as these are the main features advertised
I've just gotten mine, the white noise is really bad. The audio experience is also poor.
Faulty units, mine are quiet unless I try to blow my ears out, I'll say your ears are blown out and the white noise you hear is your mid tinnitus.

How do they stack up with the jbl quantum tws? I’ve read about it and they seem to have bigger 10mm drivers compared to 8.4mm of the sony’s. But what about the sound?
Can't speak for the inzone buds but I'm looking to replace my jbl quantum tws because there's an extremely annoying issue where 80% of the time when you first put them in the audio is slightly desynced and there's a noticable echo, requiring you to take them out and re-pair them over and over until the issue goes away. The battery life is also poor at only 4-5 hours without any noise cancellation.
EDIT: Got the inzone buds, they are better in every single possible way. They are more comfortable, you can actually customize what the touch controls do, the battery life is much longer and they don't have any syncing issues so far. Only buy the tws if you really need to save the money, it's worth it to get the inzones.
Should I get these or the Sony h9 over ears? Do these compare to those? I’d rather be wearing earbuds. But if over ear are way better than I’m going that route. Thanks

I really enjoy over the ear headphones but i have a lot of ear piercings and no headset i try makes it comfortable to use, always just pressing down on my piercing and makes it hurt and irritated. thinking these might be good to switch in between.

Yep you can use them with whatever mic you want to just have to go in settings and switch the mic
I’m guessing these will go great with the upcoming ps portal. Have you tried any FPS yet? Can you hear the direction footsteps are coming like you can on let’s say nova pro wireless? I know that’s not a fair comparison but those are so good for FPS
For positioning in an FPS I feel these are right on par with something like the nice pro wireless. Crazy to say for the price point but I think that’s why they took me by surprise

Quick question, do these have Wireless charging? I bought my Razer Hammerhead Pro Hyperspeeds for their USB-C and ANC, and while I feel the Sony Inzone buds might have slightly better audio quality, ANC and better battery life, I really enjoy the wireless charging on the Razer Buds as I can just throw them on the charger in between sessions and not have to worry about plugging them in.
Razer have 2.4 dongle?
I had non stop issues with razor hammerheads took them back been waiting on Sony to bring their own type out just want a decent mic and no disconnecting bs all the time don't know weather to get these or wait for the pulse set

ANC/Monitoring can cause that white noise. If you have that off do they still have slight white noise?
wish they had a passthrough so I could use them with the quest like the anker ones.

I had the Inzone h9, while was a good product (overpriced too) it shocked me the total lack of support from sony themselves.
Until today you just can't EQ this on PS5 (while you can with Pulse 3D) and almost no update at all since day 1.
Inzone hub lets you EQ them what's the problem?
sony building their ecosystem very rapidly recently especially in ps5 accessories, and i love it, jus wish they would make smartwatches and tablets to fill gaps

@@9to5toys So have been using them for a few hours. Very impressed with them. The white noise thing is being blown out of proportion. You can only hear it when ANC is on and even then it's very feint. There's no way you'd hear it even with low audio playing. Most ANC earbuds are the same that i've heard over the years.
Nice, yeah, it's noticeable when you really listen for it but I never notice it when in everyday use.
How did you update the software on your earbuds?
Ive got the Inzone app installed and theres no option whatsoever.
Wanted something like this for a while. Sometimes I don't want the PC and AC to battle to death, so I put the fan on. Cancelling the noise of that and not having bulky headphones on my head for longer gaming sessions will be a blessing. Seems like a buy.

Don't waste money on these. Go get alien ears custom molded single balanced armature drivers for 20$ more hand built for you. I'd never spend 200+ on universal dynamic drivers

@@proggz39 u can just plug it right into a ps5 or anything else... And wireds no latency.. Too bad dynamic drivers will never sound as Good regardless of source. I can buy 15$ bluetooth headphones that are just as shitty as sonys 200$ units

I've just bought some of these and i have to say, you could be right.
The white noise is incredibly intrusive, and the audio sounds no different than my cheap pair i bought for when I'm exercising.

Thanks for this. These are perfect for PCVR. I take my headset off a lot while I’m simming and not having to remove over the ear headphones is great.
The fact these have sidetone is also a big selling point. Especially for flight simmers.
100% on the sidetone. I got the Soundcore P10 VR usb-c gaming earbuds and returned them strictly because I couldn't hear my own voice. I hate that feeling

The comfort is great! But yeah, The mic is not great, I would not recommend that for chatting with friends on Discord 😕 if you’re on PC you could get a cheap mice like the Solocast to go with it

When is the release date
I just got a pair and I’m having connection issues. Both earbuds keep connecting and disconnecting. And sometimes my right bud disconnects and never reconnects. Is there any way to manually shut them off of do I need to put them in the case every time they disconnect. They audio is great but this connection issue has been pretty frustrating. Also, people tell me every once in awhile my voice gets very robotic.
I've had similar connection issues with a few wireless audio devices, not just the Buds, when I have them plugged into my front (or top, in my case) I/O with other devices. Not even other wireless devices. Any other USB like an external hard drive. I'm unsure if it's the same situation for you but unplugging some things works for me.

I don't like what issues people seem to be describing I had inzone h9 headset worked well but I really just want a reliable set of buds might just be waiting for the pulse set

Tempest Audio works with any headset/headphone..
I know Inzone is supposed to be their own special gaming accessories brand, but it still seems like Sony is stepping on their own shoes considering that they already have a different set of Sony branded gaming earbuds on the way.
Not really. Those are specifically for Playstation and for the PS Portal. INZONE is fro PC gaming. Clearly two different markets.
@@Sabundy The InZone line is not made for PC. I can see why it would be interpreted that way, with the lack of InZone software and customisation on PlayStation. It's more E-Sports focused, yes. But it's still very much meant for use on the PlayStation. Izone is a spin-off line. But it still carries Sonys branding and tech. I feel that having four SKU's will cause some confusion, especially at similar prices. The Explorer will be open and use Planar driver's, it will most likely lack ANC (because open) So, the InZone buds do hold an advantage if you seek ANC.

@@Sabundy inzone is also for ps5 gaming,, people can still choose to buy inzones for ps5.. the difference is not one is for ps5 and one is for pc.. .the difference comes down to quality.. inzone is the more premium offerings.. so yes 2 different markets.. budget and premium.

How does this compare to the Razer Hammerhead Hyperspeed Ear Buds?
Razer only has 3 to 3.5 hours battery life with the dongle and ANC which not really communicated. These would be a huge step up in battery at least.
Can anyone confirm whether this works with a Nintendo Switch? I know it won't connect to the Switch's bluetooth, but I'm curious whether the 2.4GHz dongle works on the Switch or not. Can't really find a reliable info on this on the internet

Yeah, the new earbuds are awesome from Sony but the only problem is the sound quality is not really the best which is pretty sad for the price you do pay I have other earbuds that have way better sound quality for gaming and specially talking to other people, that’s where the sound quality is a lot worse and the white noise is terrible that really needs to be fixed when you talk to people and stuff like that and they’re not talking you can hear it pretty bad and it just gets annoying. and I don’t understand thatplus they have disconnected a few times don’t get that either but other than that the battery life is awesome and it’s very comfortable to wear them

Which one from Logitech? Usually this means the microphone is engaged
unfortunately they don't work with apple gear and it seems it is intended based on some reviews I read. I would have liked to also use them outside with my iphone. strange decision on Sony's part.

How about Soundcore VR10? Sound is better imo and did cost 1/4 during Prime Day
You have tried the inzone to compare sound to the V10? I have the V10 and battery life is 4hrs with the dongle so these are 3x the battery life and more on bluetooth. Also V10 does not have anc.
I have the vr10 in my fat ear now and I have my fat finger on the inzone buds buy button on amazon, I'm gonna blow my fat ear drums

This is gonna be great for summer when I don't want the headset covering my ears adding heat to my head.
