We have never hunted in Kansas, we are down south of Pawhuska, Oklahoma in the Osage Hills. We have a ton of deer some big, but many smaller. We never even though of going into Kansas to hunt. We always have hunted here, Arkansas, or into Texas. We may need to check out Kansas some time.
So glad you found your buck amigo. One of the worst nights i've ever had was wondering what happened to a buck I shot earlier that day. He is on the wall looking down on me, just as yours will be in due time. Congrats on the stud buck, those are some wicked kickers.
I couldn't find a deer so I waited until the next day... coyotes picked it clean. It was a head with the hide pulled over it and a few bones. Eastern Kansas.
I’m in the flint hills and I’ve definitely seen some biggins here. Just got my first archery buck and now looking to fill the freezer with a giant doe during the early rifle season (3 days in October). Hoping to get my rifle hunt out of the way before the cold ass weather sets in. Then heading to the mountains for muleys. Gonna be a good year!

Well done. Thanks for sharing a great hunt .
Come to south central Kansas!!! We grow them big here !!!
Man, I wish First Lite had a better return policy…like Sitkas, Kuiu or Pnuma. Seems like good gear, but just not worth the risk/hassle.

Watch out! I saw whitetail at Costco pricing Marlin rifle with scope

Where can we get those specter rubber boots from ???
What jacket were you wearing? Looks perfect for November hunts here in PA.
I'm curious, how far was that shot?
Great video as always, keep them coming! How do we go about finding those aero head sports in specter??
What blue powder was used for marking the blood? I've not seen that utilized before and I like the idea. Thanks and great vid!
Looks just like line chalk for construction

Congratulations Gregg on that awesome Kansas buck from last year. Glad to see a Wisconsin boy score down there.

Kansas is big country? ROFL
It's 200 miles by 400 miles kinda big.
The hills roll for miles my guy. Take it from a resident. It’s much larger country than it gets credit for
Yeah, it is.
