Love your appreciation for nature, brotha. Sometimes have to sit back and take it in. Seeing you marvel over the manatee brought some tears to my eyes, I lost my best friend 2 weeks ago and glad to know there is more people like him that appreciate the simple things in nature still.
I am very grateful to have come across your channel. Good vibes, good video, and good fishing! Thanks for sharing, I am enjoying it. Cant wait to see more!
Hey, I wanna say thank you! After watching your videos you inspired me to go out buy a fishing kayak and also to start catching and releasing fish! Your one of a kind Zoffinger! Thanks again!
Love your videos buddy. Makes me really miss fishing with my Grandfather. I spent two weeks with him every summer until I was about 12 fishing the Tampa Bay area for Reds and Snook. Loved every second of it.. Really brings back good memories. Thanks for that.
zoffinger You're so right. It's inspired me to get a kayak and start some adventures of my own. Been out two days in a row on my new kayak. Loving it so far. Will keep watching for more tips.
Super footage Marty, a little bit of everything for everybody. I had the good fortune of being in a kayak over at Mosquito Lagoon back in March when a manatee came up and wanted to be petted, awesome experience. Thanks for sharing.
Wish to experience this lifestyle. Maybe one day before I am weak. Thankyou for uploading your experiences, really appreciate it. Its enjoying to watch and learn and look forward to seeing more videos from ya man. Cheers
This is OG Zoffinger, I've probably watched it 5 times. To me, its how little he makes it about him, and how many extra steps he takes to make it about the experience for everyone else.
It looks like one of those trips from "last week" you know when you go fishing and they say "Man you should have been here last week".LOL , another great video!
Zoff, this video is old, I know, but I just really sat down to watch and enjoy it. The editing, the music, the captions, all perfect. I've enjoyed watching your videos a lot and they have also taught me a lot. Thanks man. Cant wait to see whats next. :D
I really love your videos I love to fish over here on the east coast. I wish I could catch greenbacks but the intercoastal is so polluted that they don't live long. greetings from the brown black waters of the Indian river lagoon
Hey I wanna say I love your vids I mean i am getting a kayak next week and I live in Tampa as well and you have given me some good pointers on where to catch fish near the skyway for sure!!!!! Thank You!
Great trip Marty. you caught so many fish with the greenies it makes me wonder what the greenies taste like to make the snook like them so much. LOL nice sea cow footage too.
Awesome video, man! I always like watchin some fishin videos before i knock out for the night; this one is a pretty prime candidate for that haha. Solid sound track, and y'all killed em out there! I'll have to try the free lining - circle hook combo. Also liked the super light ugly stick and spinning reel set up. Thanks for sharing man
Another Great video Marty , thanks for sharing . I line in Ohio but have a condo in St. Pete , I've fished Fort Desota and Cock Roach Bay before , can't wait to get back down there .
That's basically the type of fishing I do off my Maverick, now I'm 50/50 with artificial out of the kayak, good video, Marty, I need to put the boat in and go get some bait.
Good stuff, I like your work man. That definitely was an awesome day. So cool for someone to invite you on the boat and let u even back the truck in! lol. I learned today.
I met a UPS driver while I was working in Punta Gorda FL. I was filling in as a power plant operator for a few months. He and I got talking about me being from Maine and FISHING. He was a captain and guide and took me out every weekend he just wanted to split gas and bait. He was an amazing guy and a great fisherman!
Nice video man I love how you add the text so I can still know what's going on even when I can't hear the Audio because people are being loud!!! Thanks for that!
Reminds me of when redfish were considered a pretty much take what You want fish. Everyone wanted red snapper. Then when You couldn’t take as many because of the fishing pressure, blackened redfish became popular. When it got to the point that You could only keep a couple the redfish, redfish status became similar to bass in freshwater. The beginning of tournaments. At least the flounder in the Gulf off Texas has rebounded. With storms moving the sand out from their normal areas the flounder got where You could only keep two. That’s a long drive from Dallas for two fish! Now they are back so You can keep five. I’ll be in Galveston Bay wading for flounder in October. Yummm.
Hi, I just found your channel and I love it so much, I myself am on my hunt for the first snook, any tips on where to go I live in the west palm beach are and what bait to you thanks a lot and tight lines!
Snook love hanging out under mangrove trees. I didn't catch many at first either because I was afraid to lose my lures in the trees. That's where your target should be though. A shrimp, greenback, topwater, soft plastic even a mangrove crab has helped me pull snook out from under those overhanging branches. You can look under docks, too. They love cover. Good luck
Just super Marty. Your up close baiting and reminder of mono wear was great info. Can you tell me what size Okuma bait runner reel you have on and with what line, also the model of the Ugly Stick. It seems like a great package. Thanks for sharing
Frank, the reel is an Okuma 30 ABF with 15lb braid and a 20lb flurocarbon leader. The rod is an SPL 1102 medium action, 5' 10". Nice size for my kayak.
Just a tip for you guys, when you catch fish can you tell us what species they are, us fisherman watching in foreign countries don't always know what you're catchin...cheers
+fiddlestickz muzik Redfish are the ones with the blunt noses, and have a black spot or spots near the tail. Snook are the shiny silver ones with the long thin head. They are delicious :D Oh and the spotted sea trout was the darker fish with the black spots along its back and the sharp teeth. :) All great fish to catch!
Enjoy your Vids, as a long time saltwater fisherman from Texas can or do you recommend a guide to do some fishing, live in Georgia now refuse to do fresh water lol tks again for the vids they are great
I live in Bradenton and i want to add a motor of some sort to my lure 2 tandems. any ideas on how to rig it? I watched your video where you put the Coleman on your catch120 i like the way you built the transom
nice work, nice day and again nice and interesting angles from the camera man, oh yea and the music is just right not to loud you don't even notice it and you still hear whats going on in the background
hey zoffinger you should do video on chumming for whitebait and how to make it. I searched UA-cam and a how-to make chum for whitebait has never been done. Love your videos keep up the good work.
Manatee's are rtuly awesome, friendly creatures. I'm so glad that they made them illegal to kill or bother. A thrill of a lifetime for me would be to catch a big tarpon, a black Marlan, a Goliath Grouper and a "Big Barracuda". A huge Tuna would be nice too. I could go on and on about my saltwater wishes. Saltwater is endless.
My dad casts the same way you do, and I always tell him, "You are going to drop that rod in the water". To this day he has not dropped it, yet he still outcasts me and I have no idea how.
Love your appreciation for nature, brotha. Sometimes have to sit back and take it in. Seeing you marvel over the manatee brought some tears to my eyes, I lost my best friend 2 weeks ago and glad to know there is more people like him that appreciate the simple things in nature still.

Love your videos buddy. Makes me really miss fishing with my Grandfather. I spent two weeks with him every summer until I was about 12 fishing the Tampa Bay area for Reds and Snook. Loved every second of it.. Really brings back good memories. Thanks for that.
Alex Evans Proof that there's more to fishing than just catching fish...Thanks for the comment, Alex.
zoffinger You're so right. It's inspired me to get a kayak and start some adventures of my own. Been out two days in a row on my new kayak. Loving it so far. Will keep watching for more tips.

I assume they taste like peppermint patties.
me and some buddies caught some REAL big ones once, coincidentally we forgot the hotdogs and had to improvise, taste a bit like bass or perch
I love your videos this is one of my favorites
Awesome video, man! I always like watchin some fishin videos before i knock out for the night; this one is a pretty prime candidate for that haha. Solid sound track, and y'all killed em out there! I have watched this vid five or six times. It just keeps getting better.
When using green backs at times I cut the tail a bit and they swim with that injured look.Works really well.Great vids Marty.
That's basically the type of fishing I do off my Maverick, now I'm 50/50 with artificial out of the kayak, good video, Marty, I need to put the boat in and go get some bait.
Live in St. Pete. Lots of fishing spots. Glad to see someone fishing by the skyway. :)

They are catching mostly "Snook" a very popular shallow saltwater fish here in Florida....

Nice Nice Nice vid man. For wonderfull things like all u show on ur vid iI love Tampa Bay
Mt family often got what we called the trashfish slam. A hardhead, a sail cat, a ladyfish, and a jack.
That sounds like my family
good ole cockroach bay I have a camp about 1 mile from there launch out of it 3-4 times a week. great video love them reds and snook.
Enjoy your Vids, as a long time saltwater fisherman from Texas can or do you recommend a guide to do some fishing, live in Georgia now refuse to do fresh water lol tks again for the vids they are great
great channel, underrated for sure!
Wow, thanks mate . Love the video. I also subscribe to your channel and hopefully seeing more fishing vids mate. Oh do u keep your fish sometimes.
that area looks a lot like Punta Alen, Quintana Roo. Nice fishing!
Getting hooked up while taking a picture of a double hook up: definition of a pretty awesome day if I say so.
Greenbacks?! I thought you meant cash. I am in Central Florida. Watching for motivation to build up my kayak.
Awesome vid as usual. I see you're still using the abf40 reel. Been thinking about getting a couple.
That's the ABF30.
great show..you have some of the best videos..one thing though could you identify thr fish for us. a lot of us don't know florida fish
A more charismatic fisherman there never was.
He was wanting those hand outs haha. Can you make a video showing how the chum was made exactly. Thanks
I live in Bradenton and i want to add a motor of some sort to my lure 2 tandems. any ideas on how to rig it? I watched your video where you put the Coleman on your catch120 i like the way you built the transom
Very nice video!
Manatees are cool! We see them up by Bayport /Jenkins Creek a lot.
Great video. Thanks for sharing :)
nice work, nice day and again nice and interesting angles from the camera man, oh yea and the music is just right not to loud you don't even notice it and you still hear whats going on in the background
Thanks, man. I often think about how you've said how nice the natural sounds are. I'll try not to ever forget.
You do good fishing man
hey zoffinger you should do video on chumming for whitebait and how to make it. I searched UA-cam and a how-to make chum for whitebait has never been done. Love your videos keep up the good work.
That's a good idea. If the opportunity comes up again, I'll do it.
Manatee's are rtuly awesome, friendly creatures. I'm so glad that they made them illegal to kill or bother. I often use a bubble float in saltwater when the wind prevents free lining with no affect in the bite.
My dad casts the same way you do, and I always tell him, "You are going to drop that rod in the water". To this day he has not dropped it, yet he still outcasts me and I have no idea how.
Hey man! I just enjoy watching your vids, so awesome :) Where do you live? I live in Cape Coral and views are the same here :)
