Such a wonderful book. Darwin's Ambitious Card routine introduced me to Goldman's Monkey in the Middle, which is the core ending (along with a Daryl idea) of my ambitious card routine, The Magic Move. I love his thinking and you are such a wonderful example of carrying Darwin's ideas forward. Thanks for the inspiration, Michael!! Cheers....

Everytime you perform you just make me want to strive to be more with a deck of cards. You allow me to keep raising the bar on myself and not become complacent in my ability. See, the issue is with " good enough " is that its usually never enough. Your passion for magic and the written word is wonderful! Thank you Michael and as always, peace and love my friend. ♦️♠️♥️♣️

Thanks Ross, never settle for being good enough. What the hell is good enough? Good enough by what measure? Do what needs to be done to create the magic you wish to perform, if you do that, you will see how good you become.

Nicely done, Michael! The Scam section of this book is stocked full of gems. Combination Cull, Deja vu Poker, the virtuosic God of Gamblers - to name a few. Ultimate Oil and Water is my personal favourite handling for that trick, too. I have to give a shoutout to the essay at the back of the book on showing or hiding skill, a write-up I personally reread every so often!

One of the main reasons you're a master. With my very limited knowledge. I've just had a small interest in magic since a kid in the 80s but could never get good at it so just enjoyed watching instead and knowing some of the secrets. I look out for the clues, the slights and think I see you do them, then you fool me even more by revealing it wasn't a slight, it wasn't a clue, its as if you're fully aware people look out for those so double bluff. Your hand is doing a slight but its just a bluff so then I'm pleasantly confused even more :)
    This is a perfect example.

I enjoy your videos about books. For me, its intersting that you speak about its historic value and meaning. But for me, I would like to have more insights into the effects, which ones were your favorites and why, so i can see if this book would fit my interstests. You already encouraged me to look at some of these books.

The routine I like I discovered by reading.
The routines you see me perform are my FAVOURITES. It’s staring you right in the face. I don’t need to do another video on just favourite effects - any video you watch of mine will feature routines I love. It’s that obvious. I encourage you to read, study and do your own thinking, research and discovery. That is the point of these videos.

Micky - I’m loving this latest theme of the classics books! I just watched an older video of slap aces 💪🏻 why O why haven’t you covered the card magic of le Paul? The reason I mention it is the shade used in slap aces on the turnover pass! 👌🏻 over to you homeboy.

Dear Mr. Vincent. Thank you for all the content you are putting out here. I love to get input from better technicians/magicians than me, so I have a "simple" request from you. Would it be possible for you to list the books you would advice to go through from beginner to intermediate to advanced, before you should attempt stuff in this caliber?
