- In an attempt to get my mojo back, I am going to go back to my roots. Publishing regular lifestyle content that may not be so polished... but shows you a small snapshot of what is going on in my life and the JaYoe crew.
I have had a hard time keeping a pace in my life... and i hope this will do the trick to get me doing what at my core i enjoy doing, which is living an inspired life and telling stories.
Not sure how long this "phase" will take.. hope you can stick with me.
the last few videos i have made have all felt like the first one i ever made. Like restarting from scratch over and over. Well.. lets try to get started and keep the train moving forward. Welcome back to my JaYoe life... again.... for the first time... again.

Matt, your channel is just about one thing, you. I originally tuned in for drones, but also liked the trike stuff. Now I just watch to see what you’re doing, where life is taking you. It’s grounding to just watch you and your everyday life and how your dealing.

I'm so glad to hear you are just going to get back at filming your life. I am a cyclist myself and I have enjoyed your world trike travels. I first discovered your videos just before the pandemic hit the states, when you were leaving China. I loved seeing that transition and how Any and Eva adapted to Western culture. Those were some of my favorite videos and others like the Chinese wedding and trip to Boyne mountain. All this to say, it doesn't matter what you are doing, the perspectives on the different cultures and your upbeat attitude have kept me coming back to see what you are up to. Thanks for taking the time to capture adventures, as well as bits and pieces of your everyday life.

I started following you Matt a while back when I came across you going for a walk in China streaming live which was amazing talking about your life and showing the scenery and talking about when you were a swimmer etc. I enjoy listening to you chat and filming your trips it doesn't matter where. I think most people enjoy watching videos about your FAMILY! Eva and Anny, the new home, etc. That is what is interesting! You really are living with 2 super stars and you don’t seem to know it! I would love to hear why Anny wanted to put down roots in America..why you never went back to China, etc. sounds like that is what you are going to do. Good choice!
Jayoe Matt! It's been a long time since I watched a video of yours, but I got a Patreon update from you, which lead me to watching this video. ^^ I do remember that what brought me to your videos was the more raw-ish type of content, which was like being next to you on your journey, including your family. I laughed, cried, was excited and such quite a lot of times during, and it's honestly something which helped me grow to the person I am today, as well as something I reminisce back at, at times. ^^

Hi Matt - remember me? I used to follow your cycle tour. Watching you cycle around Vietnam really helped during a very rough patch in my life. In spite of the difficulties, I miss those days. The pandemic really smashed everything to smithereens.

You Tube can be very difficult with notifications with me expecting it to be the HUGE number of people now watching Especially from England where many are ditching the TV Licence. Covid did not help with your last minute escape almost on the last flight. Thankfully we did a 3 month stint in YAAN during 2017 when Lily's dad passed on. First Job Tibet second Job Korea!!!
We joined you in Taiwan for the first time and followed you round the island then down to Vietnam and the huge cave. Also Eva with us having a Mixed Daughter of now 16... Boyfriend of a year etc.
Then you started a van and we watched many PROBLEM videos.
The sad passing of Weifang and your superb tribute reconnected us.
So lovely to se Annie in this video and another house move.
We in England have a hovering interest rate so after you say you will have the house the rate can go up and EVERYONE STOPS BUYING STUFF. Hence watching too many problem videos.

If you didn't get advice from experienced people.....under your carpet, you will find an
O S B subfloor.
If you later decide to tile or hardwood a now carpeted area.....you will need to spend big money for an upgraded subfloor.
Also, if you're having to flush your toilets twice, or you're experiencing clogs......your builder has stuck you with "builder grade" toilets.

I've been following you since just after you got hit by a truck in China many years ago. I remember the fish tanks! The van does not interest me.
IMO you need something different. You have hundreds if not thousands of hours of video from around the world. Perhaps pick-out interesting clips from your old videos and talk about different cultures. I'm still interested in the culture in China. You don't have to be critical of China at all. Just talk about things like 'why' the Chinese eat dogs (Mao Zedong?).
Get some good use out of those old videos.

The reason, and only reason your channel isn’t.t growing because you’re not posting. Every now and then you post something apologising you’ll be more diligent, then you disappear again for three months. Wanna grow your channel? Post more often, more regular, of anything you like. Peace.

Interesting how this channel never developed. The talent is certainly there, but not the fit. Cyrus, setpentza, Mexicanos en China all found product market fit. I think the problem is money, if you don't need the income from the channel to buy a big house, big van, and go on holidays around Italy, it's gonna be tricky to get the drive. Or maybe trying to do too much for too many people? Interesting case study
somewhat right.. this channel was always first a diary... or journal.. and i want to keep it that way... Winston made the pivot to commentary and was willing to make that shift.. cyrus basically started as a commentary... im trying to blend. Too much varied content for sure. As far as income.. i still need to find a way.. but yea.. its been bumpy..
