One of my favorites at the moment. The dial color and pattern is unique, and the 38mm cases size is a very good fit. I’m glad I followed through with it.
NO ONE talked about this watch after its initial release in 2021. Underrated, and I expect this to be discontinued soon. Patek tends to reserve the blue dial and stainless steel towards the end of the life span of a reference. (5711)
I’m glad you’re done and happy with your journey, I’m also about to be done with mine and already feel a relief. Just enjoy and rotate, I know plenty of nice outfit combinations are to come. Hope you’re sticking to your goals of fitness, diet and no alcohol! I would say a 5327G-001 perpetual calendar would’ve been perfect in your sequence of complications, but I do understand the hardship of allocating these pieces and steep price difference would’ve made it more difficult. Enjoy in health and congratulations! Another great vid 👍🏽
Trying my best. I was just looking at pictures of the 5327R yesterday! But not an option (unless I am 60 and want to get rid of all the Rolex). Good luck in 2025. I look forward to seeing your latest watch and doing another Show Us Your Rolex episode.
@ Oh no you did phenomenal sir definitely way beyond me, just put the phone down or close that laptop lol, you’re done! and don’t get rid of any Rolex please! My last acquisition I will hold it for my college graduation Fall 2025, it will be a Grand Seiko SBGJ249, as of now I’m relieved and have switched to a cheaper but still kinda expensive hobby, luxury fountain pens. I’m eager to send you again my updated collection to your “Show Us Your Rolex” episode, I think you should rename it to “Show Us Your Timepieces” since you’ve diversified your collection. You have a keen eye, a way to look at things from another perspective and attention to detail, maybe from your Naval thing outside the box training. I think you’d be a great watch reviewer and should do it maybe weekly, if you have the time that is. Cheers and enjoy 🍻
Congratulations! It does look great on your wrist and nice fit in your collection. That dial color and texture is great. The bracelet is interesting and different as well. Wear it in good health.
Patek Philippe’s catalog has a lot of great looking watches. This one is different, but I think all of them contain something special. Gladly, no one seems to care about this model, so it was available!
Great video, thanks for making this review. I acquired my 4947 steel about a year ago, and I wear it almost daily. It’s a beautiful watch, has lots of substance to it, and I think is under-appreciated to date. I could see this gaining momentum once it’s discontinued.
This watch has not gotten much attention since it was released in 2021, but it is one of the few Patek watches that is small enough for my wrist. Glad to hear it can be worn daily.
great video as always. I have to say with your style in watches, a pink gold reverso tribute or classic monoface (i have the classic pink gold in 40mm which wears like a 34-36mm round watch) would look right at home in your collection
That 5226G is really growing on me. But if they're going to bother with a date function, I feel they should make it nice and legible like Rolex or like German watches.
The 5226G may still be my favorite watch out of the entire watch box. It has something about it… the subtlety and the attention to details. But does not LOOK pretentious.
Your collection has so much variety packed into those 10 timepieces. I would be hard pushed to find fault with what you own You had me fooled when you had to think about it when offered the sublime 4947/1a For two seconds😅 Enjoy them in good health my fellow enabler
Thank you! Each PP is unique. I love their variations in design. There is some overlap with the Daytonas, but I like to switch up the gold color. And I like the 3-pack combination of the Sub/ GMT/ Daytona.
Nice addition to the collection. Never say never regarding expanding it. It’s in our blood. Have around 8 myself now- which storage box do you have and wondering if it’s easy to fit bracelet watches to it without having to change the sizing. Winders make that next to impossible. Thanks.
I have the watchbox from Rapport London. The outer sleeves of the watch cushions can be removed to make the cushion smaller, but it still store the strap watches loosely, and the Rolex Easy-link extension out, so I don’t squeeze the cushions too tight, but I don’t really need to resize them.
Congratulations! It's been great going along on the journey with you. Love the 4947, and that along with the 5226G stand out in your 10-box collection. White gold Daytona as well. Do you intend on selling the remainder of your collection?
An absolutely stunnning watch-- I recently bought mine from a grey market dealer so was not able to try on. Alas, even though I have an 18cm wrist, the bracelet is way too big.. what am I missing here?
So im obsessed with this watch and i think it’s so great. However it’s trading at least 10k-15k below retail for a barely worn one. From 2023. It’s hard because id prefer to get one from the boutique but that is such a massive swing financially. I just dont think that unless i was able to bundle this with perhaps a harder watch to get that i would be able to turn down essentially 15k worth of savings. I also ordered short straps for my 5226. Ive been waiting for 3 months. Have you gotten yours quickly? I had to put mine on a Delugs strap that is similar.
My regular production short straps came in to my AD within 4 weeks. If you order a non-standard color or material, it takes longer. My custom made grey leather color took about 3 months. I’m glad to see someone else that appreciates this watch. if you don’t want to pay full retail, no worries, it’s ok to get this one the grey market and save some money.
@@sc1 I have been obsessed with this watch since it released in 2021. I finally picked mine up on the grey market last week....brand new with the updated 330 movement and paid $36K....I am so glad it flies under the radar and no one is interested in it 🙂
@ yeah its a phenomenal choice. Congrats on it man. Thank you for the info on the straps. I’ll have to check in again with my AD. Its been probably more than 2 months now. Im just waiting on on the standard ones that come with the watch but in the small. It’s been a little over 2 months. They recently told me they were on back order. The delugs version of the light tan one has been holding me over. I have to say your videos of you wearing the 5226 and 5212 (which. I have my name on the list for) served as a source of inspiration for me
Not all, but my location asks for appointments only, but they might occasionally allow walk-ins. Depends on your location. It is safer to make an appointment.
I have the 4947 A and the 5935A in addition to the nautilus …Love to see the 5905 A and cubitus green to see which ss to get ….And then aquanaut …I would disagree about the bracelet …The butterfly clasp ss bracelet is so much easier to put on ..No wonder royal oaks and overseas use that mechanism
I haven’t asked for the 5167, because I think it looks too large for my wrist. I would think it is possible, but probably would be another 2-3 years wait.
Congrats SC! It is very different to the rest of your Pateks. Did you consider buying the 4947 from the grey market? I think the price difference is huge.
I never considered grey market for any Patek, since I want to keep them, and I want to have my name on the Certificate. Do you have another heavy-hitter coming next year? (My email is on my channel page.)
@@sc1 Hey SC, a few entry level luxury watches are on the list from Panerai and Cartier. For the heavy hitters I am waiting for a gold Daytona and the 50th anniversary of AP is coming next year. I will try to hunt down a nice piece from that release. Would still love the 5226g but had to postpone it since there were quite a few purchases this year already and as said in the videos I bought some investment properties as well. Besides that I am also pretty happy with my collection and don't feel that anything besides a Daytona is missing right now.
I am satisfied with my watches for now. The Hunt is getting exhausting, and I am too old for this. I think I have enough in my collection at this point. The 4947 is super great because it adds an extra dimension to the dial color/texture and adds on a stainless steel bracelet. My Patek collection seems adequately rounded, and I could even afford to give up one Daytona.
Done. I am finished with my Rolex and Patek Philippe collection. I already have everything I need. I must maintain my sanity and fiscal health. (Unless one more Patek Philippe happens to become available…)
Whatever happened to your stunning rosegold oyster flex daytona (I consider that to be one of the top five most beautiful watches in the world)? The black dial Daytona all white-gold is by far my fav in your collection. Great video!!
The watch box is from Rapport London: rapportlondon.com/en-us/products/heritage-ten-watch-box-macassar I reviewed it in a previous video: ua-cam.com/video/jGyjnro7poA/v-deo.html
Congrats on the new addition! And is there anything that screams “FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS!” more than Patek boxes taking up too much space in the closet? 😂 😂 😂
I love it. And it’s very under the radar for Patek. I’m surprised the bracelet isn’t light years ahead of Rolex. Personally, I think the modern/latest Rolex bracelets are very good. My 124270 is one of the most comfortable watches I’ve ever worn.
All of the modern Rolex bracelets felt more comfortable to me, compared to this Patek Philippe bracelet. (but I can't speak for the solid gold Patek bracelets). Even though the Rolex President bracelet does not have micro adjustment either, that one still seems to magically fit my wrist, with just enough extra room for wrist expansion.
This is not a tool watch or sports watch, not something to take into the water. So the bracelet will never be as robust as a Rolex. I think they were going for a ‘dressy’ bracelet vibe - all polished and thin - but took the risk of looking ‘cheap’
I heard it. The subdials maybe should be slightly larger or spaced out some more, but it really doesn’t bother me. Most people would not even notice, unless it was specifically pointed out.
Everything about this is exquisite. Beautiful box. Gorgeous watch. Interesting design. And it fits perfect on your wrist.
One of my favorites at the moment. The dial color and pattern is unique, and the 38mm cases size is a very good fit. I’m glad I followed through with it.
Looks great on your wrist! Congratulations!
The dimensions and complication on this watch are perfect! Well done! All the best
Thanks for the return visit!
@@sc1 Always glad to see that you are doing well! Happy holidays :)
The 5226G is such a stealth beauty but the lunch shots of your new linen dial blue beauty really catch the light. Congratulations.
The dial has some nice texture and 3-dimensionality when getting up close.
This is a great watch and is undervalued and overlooked. Huge congrats!!
NO ONE talked about this watch after its initial release in 2021. Underrated, and I expect this to be discontinued soon. Patek tends to reserve the blue dial and stainless steel towards the end of the life span of a reference. (5711)
What a stunning piece! The size suits your wrist just perfect.
And your collection is mind blowing… wow 😯
The watch is amazing - gorgeous and elegant - and as a steel watch, rare for Patek - great choice

Congrats on another beautiful watch.
Superb watch and fits great on your wrist! Congrats
This watch looks like a perfect addition to your collection. Congrats on the piece!
Thanks! I like the variety of designs that Patek offers.
This hobby took control of me this time. Now that I have my most wanted pieces, I will be much more disciplined in the future.

The bracelet reminds me of the Patek Neptune, which is one of my favourite Pateks. Congrats on the new pickup, especially on a whim!
A beautiful watch you have great taste and the bracelet looks so much better than the photos I have seen
Thank you so much!
Beautiful watch 👍, that bracelet really adds presence without too much flash, congratulations 🍾
Congrats on another great pick up SC! I feel very happy for you! 👏🏼
Thank you, friend. It's a special watch. I was not expecting to have it so soon.
Beautiful watch and bracelet. Blow away👌🤩
Very nice. Congratulations on the purchase; enjoy it in good health.
And there's always one more watch....
Another beautiful piece Congratulations 🙏 Mr SC
Thank you!
I tried it at the AD in Dubai in November. It’s breathtaking. Dry elegant, yet sporty.
The dial is classy and elegant. The steel bracelet adds a bit of sportiness. The case size is universal.
Best of both worlds.
I’ve never seen that one before but it looks really good, congratulations 🍾
Thank you 🤗

5205G is classic Patek Philippe.
Thanks for sharing! Cool video.

The bracelet is a modest size. With an 18cm wrist, you should be able to remove 1-2 links, and it should fit fine.
Congrats 🎉
Would you have considered purchasing the 7234G Calatrava travel time with blue dial if it was still in production?
Yes, if I had a larger wrist. But no, it is too large for me.

The change in 6 series bracelets from Rolex sure is impressive
Makes the 5 series seem delicate and flimsy by comparison
I’m glad you didn’t buy the cubitus
It was too big for me.
That cubitus looks ridiculous
Too big for my tiny wrist.
Too bad your patek boxes are taking up space in your closet. I’m sorry to hear that. Thoughts and prayers 🙏
