    I think you are over thinking this. I would start checking all the fuses. I heard the #7 fuse or corrosion with the fuse panel box can cause this as well. Good luck. We are all pulling for you !

      I think you’re right I don’t know that for sure I will recorded the other video yesterday, but it was getting late and I did not check the fuses, but I probably should’ve just checked the fuses first

    Boy.... Wait a minute. To me, your key turning issue is the tumblers going bad. They are brass and they wear. This wearing causes them to catch on the housing and lock the key or keep it from moving. I had this happen to me and my key eventually wouldn't turn. I took it apart and filed dn the brass tumblers that were sticking out on both sides. This allowed the key to turn to all positions again. The other possibility is that the ignition switch is going bad mechanically and causing the stopping. As far as the start error, idk. I have never experienced that. If you examine the ignition switch by using a screw driver to turn it and it turns freely to all positions multiple times, then that is good, but the electronic portion, the way it energizes the circuits still needs to be checked. I think my tumbler went bad at 250k. Remember this issue with the key turning doesn’t happen every time it is turn, just sometimes. So you have to duplicate this problem and visually see the mechanics.
    Remember this only sends power to the starter. You can over ride this by turning the key to the start position and jumping the starter at the solenoid with a screw driver to get the engine to crank. You can then add a spray of starting fluid and start the vehicle.

      You definitely have allot of great ideas, definitely something to think about, in the next video I will take apart ignition switch from the tumbler and see what happens

      @@ZimaletaMotors taking the tumbler out is tricky. I watched a whole lot of Mercedes ignition videos lol. It requires pushing two areas if I recall. Once it's out you will see the brass protruding. Slightly file it dn on both sides. I think you have to put the key when you do this

      Taping is temporary I ordered a new key housing from eBay

      Completed the job and gave it back to the client, I made more videos about it, but right now I am focused on the 2003 sprinter

    hi ! i have sprinter 2007 2.2 315cdi. I bought it 2 days later it worked fine then it couldn't start I got error code 0201 and 0204! it cranks but doesn't start! help please thanks for all replies!
