BAD SOIL? 5475 & 5455 GET TO WORK | The Old Stream Farm | FS22 - Episode 2
Вставка
- Опубліковано 27 лют 2023
- We are heading back to The Old Stream Farm! This time we start with lots of lovely equipment.
"Welcome to, Old Stream Farm. The famous farm of the 70's is back for even more fun. Located in a fictional European-style countryside, the roads will take you to the small town of Dorfbach and Grünwald."
Music by Epidemic Sound
Wouldn’t be a bad idea to put a little bridge over that stream between the grass fields and a little track on the short cut you took back to the farm. Love this series so far
I don’t know why but it was so funny after he tutted at that accident he saw 🤣

Chicken: You Shall Not Pass!
😂
I like the lengths of the first 2 videos. 30 minutes + is the perfect time.
Agree
When your in the Precision Farming menu you can actually purchase soil samples instead of using the isario
Yep
I really appreciate your videos, I have been watching since farming sim 17!
I know you said this map is just a stop gap until oxygen davids map comes out but im liking the map so far and think its worth keeping it going 👍
What's he's new map called buddy
If beets are a crop option, they tend to grow well in clay soil. So do carrots, Swiss chard, beans, and rice. This is based on IRL data, but FS seems to be pretty good about mimicking real-world conditions.
Theres clay i think
@@southaussiegarbo2054 i live in the south west of the Netherlands and i have seen fields that are full of lumps of clay and giant beet piles its very cool to see
I had a revelation around drills a couple weeks back, after being unsatisfied with larger drills and ease of maneuvering around tight fields. Got rid of my big drill and bought a pair of those smallish Case drills (John Deere has the same sorta thing - you used a pair of them - tandem - in Calm Lands) and an extra tractor (used). I can get 2 helpers to run drills on the same big field or deploy one each on a pair of small fields while I harvest & haul grain. Those smallish drills are very dependable and cheap.
Nice to see you've also started on The Old Stream Farm! Love the episode!
Daggerwin i would love to see you do the potato harvest as we have not seen one in quite some time and most people enjoy watching it ,keep up the good work.
If you have seasonal off may you turn a constant month on, calmsden got very weird with harvesting in the winter
Use the little field for corn and sunflowers with a folding header.
Just started this map its great every thing is in arms way its a fun map glad you started it.
There so much potential with this series, would love to see som euro tractors later down the line. Keep it up dag 🚜❤️
I’m kinda hoping that Oxygen David takes his time with his map as we have this in the meantime. I like this 👍
Ahh Nice my boy @RRooooooNNNN has this map on his channel . It's a nice map, The starter home area is pretty sweet.
loving these longer episodes
don't know if you want to get the collectables but you get £80000 each and there is one on the bridge by the junction by f1 if you want it
I remember you saying on your Calm Lands series that resetting the Bale Counter that is part of the Vermeer pack didn't work. The reason is doesn't work is that the default key binding (ctrl+X) is the same as that for Group Folding. If you remap the Counter Reset it will work.
You need to get a little tractor for feeding the chickens like a 135 or 165 Massey
nice video daggerwin!
Nice vid😉
3:50 "Oh no...Anyway " moment.
I love this map I turned the small field at the front into a yard with green houses with a hedge around it.
If you can just wait for the launch of brand new map from Black sheep modding:
The Valley the Old farm!!!
So much better,nostalgia.. also
He about to release it within 2 weeks
Really enjoy your Videos. Like reading a book but with film xx 😊
For modded windorwers you can look for a front windrower or the lizard trailered windrower, as both allow you to swath and collect in one step rather than 2
Great video
Silty clay isn't the worst soil time in terms of max potential yield!
Loam offers a 125% yield potential
Sandy loam offers a 100% yield potential
Silty clay offers a 90% yield potential
Loamy sand offers an 80% yield potential
Thank you from someone who is too lazy to look it up for himself. This will help me decide what to plant.
Dagger I love this series
Those mowers are great! You can do the first pass with out the off set. Keep you from driving over downed grass
Really like this series! But I also have a question: can you do like a really realistic series, mostly first person, seasonal growth, etc.?
Is that not pretty much survival roleplay?
Old stream farm is just such an amazing map! Probably top three for me ever in FS tbh. 🤷🏼♂️
nice video
Hey dags. No need to use a sensor before the crop has popped out of the ground. And it only works on nitrogen.
Watching your vid while playing😃
you should buy a mower for the front of the tactor so you can get more at a time / loveing the series so far
When Precision Farming (FS22) first came out, they hadn't implemented oilseed radish or grass rollers. Does anyone know if they ever finished that? Also, I wish there was some way of specifying the intended crop when applying digestate or manure; I always feel like they should be applied before seeding, but if you do that the crop sensors don't know how much to apply and I end up adding more fertilizer anyway.
Don’t know why I stopped watching daggerwin, but glad I came back.
👍
Mod recommendation big bags as standard. You only buy the bigs but will have lime and fert in the pallets hanging around
😊
Well looks like field 20 is a bin case (or productions that are not on the map already). Just curious but has anyone ever made a meat production mod? Like one where a farmer can supply cows, pigs, sheep and chicken to generate meat products.
With the mouse controls you can change mower position.....so you can have it to the left, right, or behind
Hello love the series so glad episode two is here🎉🎉😊
would be good idea to turn that shortcut into a little farm track so you do not destroy any more crops maybe
I tried seed a field in Rennebu, this weekend and got a to heavy seeder so had to work it from angles and try and find grip for my tractor aso, thats what i want to see .
My favourite map for years, just chilled out and coolio.
I personally think you should do seasonal growth because you have survival roleplay and that polish series and I don't even know if that one uses it, please.
Heyyy amazing vids
If you are going to build a mill the. One of the windmill mods would seem to fit with this map
your videos are the best
Tbh I'd sell field #2 after seeing the clay. Try for 3.
at minute 35.55 if u loo to your right there is an access road to the back of the yard to the " grass" field, and as soon as i say it you see it :))
A cropsensor is for checking crops while growing not for seeding. No need to turn those on, nothing to check on black dirt
I love the tractors you use
might be a gamble, but maybe the soil of field 4 is better than of field 2 ... so maybe sell 2 and buy 4
Love this series
Oilseed radish with PF doesn't make much of a difference. Without PF it would make sense.
Hey Daggerwin! Long time watcher. Why don’t you use the GPS mod much when doing field work? Would make it much better!
Cheers
That music @15:55 sounds familiar. I think it's from Black - Wonderful Life.
Your mower is bigger than your harvester and I'd say far more awkward to use on the small field, I think keep the small field for a crop rotation, the harvester was fine on it last time, it's good soil
Hey daggerwin i think you should sell f29 and buy other field because it is a bit alcourt with the two sections
With the way he set this up it feels just like the fs17 days
Thinking the exact same thing myself
It's nice to see again Daggerwin I'm to busy to watch your videos 😊
The cat says meow.
You download the mod that allows you to buy products at the store instead of producing them. 😊👍
First!!! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!!!!
The next tractor you should get is the John Deere modding tractor
I would sell field 2 and buy a different one that looks like it will have Loam in.
So you can refigure that tractor trailer you got into a dump truck as well
Is this farm on console? If not, recommend any farms that are?
Hi I’m asking what mods you have and could you please put them in the description and are they available on PlayStation and I love your vids thank you if you read this bye
Great vid daggerwin so pleased with the series keep up the good work
The forage harvester wasn't given a chance to unload. Was still 50% in the harvester
Can you change the composition of a field, say by adding manure or digestate and improve the soil?
Can you get the 6290
I wish oilseed radish had two growth stages. First would give some fertility, if you let it go to the second it would give plow credit as well as more fertility. We regularly use oilseed or diacon radish to break up compacted soils in my area.
Hi
What tires what power will it work or just get stuck , more realism, sorry for blabbering on , just my thoughts. take care.
Byron. Hi
Love this series could you do your version of clarksons farm
Testing the Beaverator it travels at 6 mph (9.6km/h?) The smaller addon travels only faster at 8mph(convert it your self 😋) which is only used if you want to use a lorry. Might not be the best idea considering how far Daggerwin will have to drive it. Unless he wants to buy a lorry, since it seems the cheapest he could get away with out of the 3.
It's a shame you take seasonal growth off. I feel that it would add to the environment (and maybe the difficulty)
Hi i like your videos have nice day/night
I’m so glad I don’t have to do the soil samples, think it’s a mod, just purchase the full report for a few grand…
Why is field 4shaped like Oklahoma
I've been offline and haven't been able to follow Daggerwin in quite a while. Anyone here who knows a similar series he has played with precision farming and preferably a similarly sized map?
I think survival challenge on calm lands is the only other series he’s used precision farming on
@@philash824 Thank you! I'm not a big fan of survival, but I'll def check it out and maybe fast forward in the beginning.
@@kjeglmangle9256yes. A lot of wood cutting the first few episodes….
@@kjeglmangle9256 yeah you may have to skip a couple of episodes as precision farming wasn’t released when he started, but I can’t remember which episode he added it, but he hadn’t gotten very far, maybe episode 5
I'm looking for help.
I'm trying to play with an Xbox controller on pc windows. My controller connects fine, but when I turn, the wheel only turn maybe 5 degrees.
Instead of turning field 1 into a grass field, you could place some green houses on it
Are you going to use precision farming on survival roleplay
I know you use the thrustmaster wheel for driving, but what do you use to control the hydraulics? (like the forklift etc)
I think its a logitec wheel he uses g27 or 29. and a mouse with a mini up down left right stick on it for the hydraulics. I might be wrong though
@@maximplus04 hes got saitek sidepanel thinh
Can you show your set-up in a video?
Crop sensor only measure nitrogen level in the crop after first growth stage, it doesn't measure soil
The back tyres on your Tele handler looks very flat
if you want to put a production in take away one of the silage pits because theres 3 of them
Please enable seasonal growth, that was one of the reasons I really enjoyed Haut Beyleron.
Field 29 looks like it needs a bridge
Maybe you could look into modded productions like the vegan production or straw production
