🙏🏼🇩🇴🇪🇦🇩🇴🇪🇦🇩🇴🇪🇦🇩🇴 what's funny is that that movie was an exact replica of a lot of people's lives in Latin America the character in that movie was exactly how my father is in life my dad's Dominican and Spain it's no joke it's really how we really are so thank you brother for that movie it's a blessing 🇩🇴🇪🇦🇩🇴🇪🇦

Finally got round to watching 'Biutiful' yesterday - very impressed, very good film, though definitely not for everyone. It's pretty heavy-going stuff, and it was nice to see Barcelona in a different light.....I lived there for 2 years, and walked on the dark side at times, and like any city, Barcelona is not a beautiful city in every way - it has many dark places, like any city. But Barcelona is never shown in that way, so it was good to see that for a change.
So, I would recommend it.....Javier is superb, and from this clip, seems like a nice chap! :o) :o)

Roger Ebert summed it up correctly for Biutiful : Javier Bardem is a vastly human actor

Tony Leung said the same thing about his character in In the Mood for Love. After being so many months in such a melancholy state for the character, it took him six months after shooting ended to come back into his own. Interesting.

The irony of him not being appreciated as much as he deserves is that the public needs to evolve in taste and spiritual depth at a level that rarely happens. The case of one dwelling on untrodden ways even on Hollywood lol
