Hey! I know this video is old, but why would you typically use phenolphthalein as in indicator for SA SB titrations knowing that the equivalence point for this titration is 7?
Hi, don;t worry I'm still here haha, Phenolphthalein has got a very clear colour change so its much easier too see. Plus whilst the equivalence point is 7, the equivalence range (vertical section) is 3-11 so the indicator fits in this nicely. Methyl orange is not great for seeing a very clear end point although it is still just as suitable.
