I know this is referencing so many artists that have passed away at 27, as someone with BPD this hit on another level since our average age is 27 and so many of us dont make it past that. I hope you're taking care of yourself because as much as I love your music and you only write bangers, It's not worth it if we lose you man. Stay healthy out there
Ug. I just got diagnosed with BPD last year. I was hoping it was going to be bipolar like my mom and get meds and feel better but no it’s therapy and homework for trauma I didn’t even ask for 🙄
I turn 28 February 5th and for months my plan was to end things the end of January, I had scheduling and life events going on in the fall and the end of January nothing was going on that it wouldnt affect other peoples events and it would be a decade since I remembered my abuse and trauma and honestly I thought a decade was enough and I didn’t want to get past 28 and I just wanted to cling onto youth forever or whatever my stupid brain wants to call it.
I had set the date and plan in December but now I’m butchering it by telling people what I was going to do and when. Also in December I found out you can be so stressed you have seizures and I had three that month. At this point I’m like wtf is up with my mental health psychogenic non epileptic seizures are not in my comfort zone. And now that my mental health is “physical” my family is trying to give a crap for once and I’m just like “where was this concern the last decade and maybe I wouldn’t be having seizures and other stress and psychosomatic issues…”
Anymore I’m just tired of plain old existing day to day and I want to live and enjoy life now but it’s just so freaking hard. And now my birthday is coming up and the suicidal ideation is like “hey it’s getting hard you wanted to do it before your birthday right?” Also another sad thing is my best friend turned 28 this January 12 and she was having the same mindset as me of not wanting to turn 28 and was going to make Christmas the best day for her family but we’ve been trying to not self isolate ourselves and talk to each other more and it’s been a little bit of a help.
