Prelijepa reportaža. Vrijedni i pošteni ljudi su iz Šestana. Šteta bi bilo ne obnovit ova imanja, ali prvo puteve napravit i ostalu potrebnu infrastrukturu.

Those who migrated to Croatia to escape Ottoman Rule are referenced as Sestani even in Croatia who are classified as Arbanasi. Albanians. Look it up. These people were mostly Gheg speaking Catholic Albanians in the past.
@@vladofq4002 He's right. We are next door in Pincici and Repsa. My Untie's husband was from Sestani. An Albanian Muslim. A lovely man who passed recently in Tudjemil. Today they're all assimilated. In fact our surname historically 'supposedly' was Vucetic before becoming Djokic. These are our genetic relations without doubt and I can safely say most were Albanians historically. Catholic Albanians before some adopting Islam.
@@australiaprisonisland9156 I would not agree with you. Because I follow their genetics and history. 1610 year Sestani are not listed as Catholics by the archbishop of Barski. The 2 oldest churches in Sestani are Orthodox and come from the era of Nemanci.

My ancestors were Catholic Albanians before adopting Islam in the late 18th century. There were also Orthodox communities as it was somewhat a border area but they too are also my kin. Besa is on the water. It's was always an Albanian village. What does Besa mean? Pincici were Albanian Catholics historically. Marini or Marinovic, Jankovic, Bracic and so on.

My Untie's husband was from Sestani. Tsano Lukic. He was an Albanian Muslim. They moved down to Tudjemil where he sadly left us not long ago.
