Hey Guys, another excellent video. Time spent doing maintenance always pays for itself in the long run. Have you ever considered using a canvas tarp material to cover the reel assembly in order to prevent sun damage to the hose. Hardware stores sell a similar item to cover generators for protection when not being used. If the truck is not being used daily then the reel assembly should be covered. Also cover it on the weekends if the truck is parked outside. Does your company do any live trap animal removal? Groundhogs, opossums, skunks, etc. It would be interesting to see some videos on that service. Thanks for posting and sharing.
We can look into tarps, not sure how they would attach, but not a bad idea. Live traps, yes! We can make some content on that. Hopefully our tactics are considered humane enough for UA-cam. We will get something filmed. Thanks for watching!
@@pestcontrolguys Go online to Amazon and search for generator covers. Many to choose from for under $40.00. You can secure it in place with tie down straps or bungee cords.
What are you using at 5 minutes in to protect the side of the truck? Looks like just some kind of a thin foam mat zip tied into the truck. Or is that a specific product?
We bought some commercial carpet. It is rubber on the bottom with commercial carpet on the top side. I cut it down into squares to attach by the hose so that as we pull or wind the hose it won't mess up the truck wrap or scratch the sides. Good eye on that!
That one is a ShurFlo 8000 series. We have used Delvan and NorthStar but currently have Demco and ShurFlo. I buy the ShurFlo pumps at northern tool down the road. I always spend the extra $20 for 2 year replacement. I have replaced several over the years, so it is worth it. They work, but we are hard on them running them most of the day and the rest of the time sitting outside in the elements. Thanks for watching!
I’m in the middle I’m not pesticide I’m not a pressure washer I have a cleaning service company l and I need something like that for pre-spray degreaser in the shop 30 thousand square feet shop I just flow- zone backpack I really like the machine but is to small for the job so I looking for something fast than 4 gal backpack hopefully you have an idea
@@christophernewson1934 the parts that are for the reel are from Hannay. The hose I’ve been ordering throughout pest control supplier. The small pipe fittings and connectors I have been getting from Ace hardware. The filter and other sprayer parts from sprayer depot online. Let me know if you are looking for a specific part.
@@pestcontrolguys Thank you so much I will try I’m tire to spray with flow zone is a good equipment but to small for 30 thousand square feet I need something like this video to putting in a wheel cart white large hose
My idea is build 20 gal tank pump with battery and charger like dewalt batteries and 50 f hose but I don’t know what pump I can buy I pre-spray 30 thousand square ft shop Is a epoxy floor
Actually, powder coating was around $300, bolts, & hardware less than $40, reel center tube $78, handle $15, Grease fitting $68, add that all up just over $500 and a new sprayer with that reel is over $2k. You are right little things add up, but taking care of equipment makes cents! Thanks for watching!
Actually, our technicians do take them home. The ones in the shop are spare or not in use. We have a few guys that work for both of our companies and switch trucks depending on their routes, so they park their other truck inside when they aren't using them. We totally agree, that is an important perk of the job. Thanks for watching!

I try gnc industries there’s any other recommendations to buy a spray rig like 25 gal for small businesses

I have a 4 gal Flo zone sprayer do you think if I switch all the parts from flow zone sprayer to a bigger 16 gal tank
Do u think is working properly
@@azurdo1948 I’ve never used the Flo-zone but I’ve heard good things. If it can spray 4 gal, it should be able spray more.
What kind of pump are you using on those rigs? I'm still using gas but going to electric soon

Whats the psi on pump and how much feet of hose in on the reel
We use 60psi electric pumps and usually 300’ of hose. Some sprayers have 220-250’ of hose in our fleet.
@@pestcontrolguys awesome thanks
I love it nice equipment
Why this type of equipment looks like Softwash equipment
Appreciate your answer
It is a low pressure sprayer, perfect for pesticide applications.

Any recommendation to buy equipment like that any website
@@azurdo1948 that exact unit isn’t made anymore, but we bought 8 newer style 50 gal units from GNC. Here is their site: www.gncindustries.com/
Can you let us where you order everything from?

It does look good, but be honest- that cost almost as much as buying a new one, and it is still old.

Kind of hard to compete with other companies for good employees when you don't allow them to take the trucks home.
