Just like the composers did with Megaman Battle Network 6's regular battle theme: They made us feel like we were just doing some good 'ol regular virus busting... yet, the music gave us that ''the end is near'' feel. The composers Capcom hires are really good at this. They gave me the same feeling with the Cross-Examination themes of the last games of the two Ace Attorney Games (Trials and Tribulations and Spirit of Justice)
Finally!! I've been looking for an extended version of this song for years. This song is probably one of my favorite battle themes in any rpg,it's so great that I would never runaway from battles.
Gotta admit, this was my first and only StarForce game and my first Megaman I've ever played and I LOVED this theme to death including the boss theme. Never finished it though since I got stuck at the part where I was supposed to trade someone a grenade chip which made me angry since at the time I had DOZENS but he never accepted them
Me too I was hooked to megaman after that. Remember like it was yesterday. My brother taking me to GameStop at the mall, getting my first DS and getting starforce 3 out of curiosity
Maybe they were in your folders? Or perhaps it was the wrong card? Wait a minute, you sure it's the MiniGrenade card? I played the game at some point without changing megaman at all, be it adding abilities (including AceProgram, so I had no Noise Changes), folders, busters, etc. and I had to trade a Cannon card to progress, so I had to change to the Xtra folder to continue the challenge.
The melody here sounds very emotional and galactic (hell, I’d say this is probably the most galactic sounding battle theme of the series) at the same time and I love it. Which is why this makes this my favorite battle theme of the 3 games.
I have a kinda love hate relationship with this song cuz it sounds really good but it reminds me of BN3 and BN6 where it gave you an "End of an Era" feel. Makes me sad, but glad I played these games.
I wasn't happy when I heard this would be the battle theme coming off of MMSF2 and how stellar that was. Went through all of SF3 and it grew on me. A big fuck you to the person who stole my SF3. I'm going to make him pay for it if I find him.
dude, i love this listening to this when i battle those viruses, ahh i love replaying the game i still comeback to picking up my DS XL to play it to this day
What if every Megaman Battle Network (Star Force) game was released 3 years prior?, Megaman Battle Network (1998),Megaman Battle Network 2 (1998/1999),Megaman Battle Network 3 (1999/2000),Megaman Battle Network 4 (2000/2001),Megaman Battle Network 4.5 (2001),Megaman Battle Network 5 (2001/2002),Megaman Battle Network 5 DS (2002),Megaman Battle Network 6 (2002/2003),Megaman Star Force (2003/2004),Megaman Star Force 2 (2004/2005) and Megaman Star Force 3 (2005/2006) (those years of release are real, they were released 3 years later, the originals were released 3 years prior to the 3 actual years)
Begining of the game: Let's kill some viruses!
Endgame: LeT's MakE SomE NOiSE!1!!!
If Battle Network was in Ninja Steel:
Power Navis! Jack In! Navi Spin!
That idea came out of my head right now

Post game: Let collect some cards.
Starforce 3 is so underrated as a megaman game
The entire Star Force trilogy is underrated, wonderful games. 1 and 3 are two of my favorite games ever.
So true
You forgot about 5/6 of the battle network games
loyalswordsman I feel like they finally hit their stride at starforce 3. It’s a damn shame.
Guess I'm the only one who fell in love with starforce 2 lol.
Never has fighting a Met been so intense

WOW! Thanks, this is my favorite theme in series and I've yet to see a proper extension of it up till now.*Smiles and subs*
Believe me, there are plenty of Sound Tracks that people are willing to listen to, but their glory needs an extension.

At 0:04, it sounds like the opening theme of Glitter Force.
I wish someone would do a mashup of this and shooting enemy from mmbn3
Hmm...actually this sounds like a bit of shooting enemy from MMBN3...or its just me? :O
I have a kinda love hate relationship with this song cuz it sounds really good but it reminds me of BN3 and BN6 where it gave you an "End of an Era" feel. Makes me sad, but glad I played these games.
