Hi mestre fantasma, I am a great fan of capoeira skills sharing through videos. Thanks for the negativa tutorial. Capoeira is a great exercise working body, mind and soul. As an angoleiro I prefer the way mestre João grande does the negativa in a more protective manner on the knees. Mine were injured couple years ago. Best!
Thanks fro your comment - I like a few different ways to do the negative and here is only one - but I understand not everyone has good knees. Here they say "Use it or lose it". I enjoyed too learning with João Grande Axe

Thanks, Anna it's nice to know that these videos are of some use. To expand on that ‘miss an opportunity’ part. I often see people go all the way when it wasn't needed and other times not go when it was needed! So to highlight the different phases helps to actually build movements that can be later used skillfully.
