Yeah bro 👍
No please. Nobody wants Indians and Pakistanis involved.
Agreed
Yep if there is more competition. More quality of cricket
As a South African and cricket fan, I am so excited for cricket development in the United States!.. I had always been of the belief that cricket has great potential in the US and that the US could become a major force in the game in years to come.. My message to US cricket is, keep going.. Looking forward in seeing the game develop over there.. #MLC

Lol England, Australia and India would beg to differ. They would rather keep the sport between themselves.
@@Tshikonelo bro try to sneak India in it 😂😂😂 although I do agree that India is trying to keep this sport to thereself
Thanks for covering it guys. It's good to see a good cricket channel like yours covering this event and letting the cricket fans around the globe know about the major developments happening in the cricketing world, especially in the North American region. Kudos!!
Thank you, Prashant! Appreciate the support.
@@CricketDistrict hello
Hello dear
I think cricket can go big in the US. We only have to look at the MLS. Lots of big stars going over (granted with a lot of money) but the sport gradually gains success. Will definitely be watching this year and always keeping an eye out for it
Great to see cricket blossoming in the USA. I think that 20 over games mid week could be popular with the 50 over games better for weekend viewing. Good luck; I'll be eagerly waiting for the games to commence. (A Kiwi cricket fan).
Absolutely, fingers crossed it takes off!
Hello
Nope odi can be introduced lately as america means time saving.they for now need sports match which take minimum time and maximum fun
The editing in this video is insane!
Great blog too!
Hopefully mlc just kicks off in America and everywhere in the world
Thank you so much!
Would be great if you visit Nepal 🇳🇵 😊 ?Passion is at infinity level here .
We'd love to visit soon for sure! The crowd for the recent game was amazing to see!

Nepal won the Asia Cup Qualifier today 🎉& Qualified for Asia Cup 2023 . They are going to meet India & Pakistan in their group stages 👀

I only hope that cricket takes root in the US so that one day there could be high level cricket matches between west Indies and USA.
But it will take long time to be even in top 10 sports in US. Even if people watch cricket we need players to play rather than watching cricket
I am surprised to see the legend Mahela Jayawardena there, now he is in everywhere ❤

Hello
It's been five years since the greats Shane Warne and Sachin Tendulkar captained their respective ALL Star teams paying on MLB stadia with the final game played at Dodger Stadium. With the wicket located in the centre it made for a big show of blasts over a relatively short boundary. Great exposé for the game.
You can find articles relating to when Sir Donald Bradman met "Babe" Ruth at the former Yankee Stadium back when the Aussies were in transit to England for an Ashes tour.
Such a passionate team you are! Loved the content. 💙✨
Thanks for the support, Saransh!
Love you more

World Class guys. Thoroughly enjoyed it
Lovely news this. I will be supporting cricket expansion into the USA. The North American market is the biggest and grandest and I pray that we will make inroads. Time to show America why cricket is one of the greatest sports globally. Cricket lovely Cricket indeed!!

I want cricket to grow from school level and all local people from USA to play cricket 🏏
League cricket will increase the popularity of cricket 🏏 in world ......
I hope a couple of former major league baseball stars are recruited into the batting lie ups to help bring some attention to it. I'd love to see it go well in the US. The oval is looking great!

A word class Cricket stadium is must needed in New York 🔥
If cricket goes big in the US, a bunch of countries like Japan and South Korea will follow suit by default, which will help popularize it in South East Asia.
Yup, Not to mention a lot countries follow USA in trends, so yeah that could happen
This is interesting, as a Brit its quite surprising. We played cricket at school, I never really liked it but there was always a group of kids who loved it and played in the team etc while everyone else found it quite boring. In fact we sometimes had a younger PE teacher who instead of cricket with him we played baseball which was much more fun and faster etc. I guess thats the sport - some people really love it and the others not so much. I still can’t get my head round how test cricket can last for 5 days and still end in a draw!
Great video! Always first and best with the content!!
Netflix needs to make a show on cricket like "Bat to survive" similar to drive to survive. That would do, if the show catches some American eyes it would eventually make it big there. Cricket has huge potential in USA.
That would be epic!
Get hugh Jackman or Danielle Radcliffe or gerald butler or Mark walhberg to host as they're huge cricket fans
very well put together video guys well done
Thanks Alfie, really appreciate the support!
Should've gone to the NCCA Championships in Houston! Lots of college teams from around the country came to play!
Ah next time for sure!
Hopefully cricket can grow in both north and South America
This seems very professional. I’ll defo get behind it. Hope it goes well.
Great work man loved it!
Thanks for watching!
Love america. Hope they become a cricketing powerhouse soon
USA should have been a powerhouse long ago given there were over 3000 players in several north eastern clubs soon after the War of Independence.
@JUST WATCH He's talking about the 18th and early 19th century. There were not many Indians in the US back then.
Would be interesting to see the time lapse on this new stadium in Texas to completion….. and maybe debut night.
What about Central Broward Park Cricket stadium, Florida, it's going to Co-host 2024 T20 World Cup, Cricket!!! 👀
Very very happy to see cricket in USA... the game will get a huge boom....but i think if there will be any national cricket team of America the players must be choosen who are native Americans not like other emerging teams where almost all players are from subcontinent...when a national team has native players in it rather then imigrants then the sport gets a huge boom in that country because the sentiments of whole nation come into play
In August there are two t20 matches between India and West indies at Florida
let's add another billion fans to the amazing sports of cricket
Great content made keep it up
Thanks so much for the support, Aaditya!
In terms of action, T-20 and even ODIs are way more exciting than Baseball. Test cricket would never be popular outside the main test playing nations but the other forms of cricket can really take off.
Are there stolen bases, double plays or back and forth scoring in cricket? Are there home plate collisions?
*AS AN INDIAN I WILL SURELY WATCH MAJOR LEAGUE CRICKET WITH MY BOYS*

LOVELY TO SEE CRICKET GROWING IN USA

Perfect timed, now we need IShowSpeed to watch more Virat Kohli and it will pop-up in States for sure🤣🤣
With the variety of different nationalities in usa they should have a strong team if properly managed
Depends on marketing. Cricket can easily takes market of baseball and basketball 🏀.
I really would like to come play cricket in the usa and coach as well 😊

This is great cricket conquering usa. Wow thats great
My guy Matthew Botha poped outta nowhere, good to see you cheif
He's a legend! Loved his passion for cricket.
Keep up the good work lovely sport
The trick will to not go too big too fast. I believe they could get 5000-7000 to games, most of the money though will come from private investment, sponsorship and tv rights. Looking forward to seeing it.
Never knew why Americans didn't have Cricket as one of their summer sports, maybe because they wanted their own sports like American Football and Baseball, which they have tried to export with little success. Been following the MLC setup for a few years, they taken their time doing this and looks like they have done it right. With Team owners from the IPL owning sister teams in the MLC, and with a sizeable population of Indiana and other Cricket playing nationals living in the USA hopely their enthusiasm for Cricket will get other Americans to come to the games and fall in love with the sport.
I mean soccer(football) has really started to take off in the u.s with new teams joining the MLS. Just have to keep moving forward and expose Americans to cricket 🏏. Ive just started watching it to understand more
Which series are you watching nowadays?

The one time I’m out of town they come to my city😢
Ah sorry to miss you, Osman!
I'm pretty sure it will be a big sport in the states if the Americans understood it
Well, I would say that a majority of Americans that are into sports understand Cricket at a basic level. The argument to be made is if they care about Cricket. I would have to say probably not. Americans like “big play” sports, and I’ll have to be honest with you…..there isn’t a lot of that in Cricket. You can argue that they make sliding catches, but that’s not going to win over the hearts of Americans when there is Third Baseman snagging 110 MPH balls off the ground and 360 spin throwing to First Base to get the out. Crickets more of a game of tactics than raw athleticism. It’s like chess. That’s why Test Cricket goes for 5 days. Obviously T20 is a little more fast paced, but you’re still not going to have fielders making the highlight reel over NFL players and MLB hits……..
@@Jay_Force_One you perfectly epitomise the average American's opinion on cricket. Not bothered to understand it well enough

I hope this takes off but there has been zero advertisement with non cricket fan Americans. It needs to not be on willow only or it’s screwed. I feel like they’re relying too much on overseas fans, and 2nd generation American fans. The rosters are solid though. They really need a o draw in the baseball crowd/players. If they did in 10ish years American t20 could be great. T20 with all the batting would be a hit. Especially since it’s non stop.
No telecast for any cricket tournament outside cricket nations except brasil .... Willow tv is just for south asians only espn+ telecasting in english and portuguese language in brasil is the only non cricketing country .. Cricket only grow if there is proper advertisement and telecast in mainstream Tv
U should come to dc
Sounds good! Do you play cricket there?

I saw it in 1999 in LA of all places. I understand theres a regular competition in the new england area.
