I unfortunately have a unhealthy habit of distancing myself from the people that matter most in my life. I can come off as... well... grumpy towards others, even when they are happy as can be. My 13 year old sister has cancer, and Sunday I had gotten a call from my parents asking to gather all of my siblings to come and say our goodbyes… We prayed, we asked for a miracle, and here we are 5 days later and my sister has made a MIRACULOUS recovery and doctors are in AWE!
Need prayers for my son & wife to attend church and put God first in their lives, marriage my grandkids health, protect them 24/7, especially business to produce do better be out of debts..Lord I pray all the time pray that my son succeeds in his business. Learning how to address conflict here, and some people don’t hear you when you’re kind. By kind I mean agreeable, willing to overlook obvious issues, and not speaking up and addressing an issue directly. I absolutely feel better when I can be kind to everyone everywhere. People are not kind. And by not kind I mean purposely disagreeable, purposely neglectful, and gaslight you when you try to address it.

One of my teen students attempted to end her life tonight. We had talks. I was trying so hard to help her. She suffered from depression. I really wanted to take her to the church but I was not allowed as a teacher here. I am so sad. God bless her and don’t give up her young life, please.

I had to rewatch this after taking a step back and reflecting, but the person I'm least kind to is definitely myself. I always believed telling myself I wasn't deserving of something was humility. Now I see it as brokenness. Humility isn't shutting yourself down. Thank you, God, for these beautiful words of wisdom.
