If the four MPs involved have actually FILED to indicate their next intention at the EC, so be it. Atta Akyea is just trying to be smart. The 1992 Constitution, methinks, is explicit on this matter.
The erstwhile respected Atta Akyea is gradually reducing the leftover respect to nothing. Internal party constitutions clearly state when and how one can become an MP candidate to contest elections on their ticket.
You have the temerity to call the honourable mp " erstwhile respected Atta Akyea" when you have indeed not contributed nothing to the substance of the debate. The respective parties have not complained about "cross carpeting" and therefore Hon Haruna Iddrisu has no locus in bringing the matter before the speaker. The speaker risk being invited to a dangerous precedent if he acts on the motion by the opposing mp, he would have handed a mischievous tool to mps. Speaker Babgbin must avoid the "trap".
I DISAGREE with good old Mike Ocquaye! The Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, as a Member of Parliament, has every right to draw attention of the Speaker of Parliament to provisions of the Constitution that has a bearing (direct/indirect) on the functions of the august House, methinks. .
If NPP members voted for you to parliament and you decides to go independence , the people has the right to choice another person, he cant betray the people and remain in parliament, The MP will need independence people to vote for him to remain in parliament.
When npp people are talking you will see foolishness in it, when someone has field to contest on different ticket, he should come and announce it, is the no who announced the 2020 own before he was sacked.

When it suited you in 2020 you were okay with it. What has changed. You can't eat your cake and have it. Precedence is very important here.
