Thank you so much, Jill! Glad you like the colours. I think it's the first thing that "hits" when you make a project so it's very important. I'm sure I don't always get it right :)
Ruth, these are so beautiful! My sets just came today and I can’t wait to have a go. Thank you very much for the detailed instructions. Glad your husband is doing well. ❤️
Ruth, Thanks so much for making the video. I always know that your way of explaining the construction will make sense to me. Glad to hear David is doing well. Have a blessed New Year❤
Hello Ruth, Thank you for all your wonderful inspiration. I love your tutorials, you explain everything so well. Is it possible that you did a tutorial for the Tonic Oriental lights dies? I am sure l watched it. But don’t seem to be able to get it again on UA-cam. If you have done a tutorial using these dies could you possibly send me a link. Thank you once again for your educational tutorials.
Thanks very much, Florence. Unfortunately I don't have that set. I have a video on the Mosaic Moroccan Lantern and parts of this are similar ua-cam.com/video/F32k8taAPqE/v-deo.html. I hope this helps a bit :)
Stunning projects Ruth! Finally have time to catch up on your wonderful videos. So glad your husband is doing well. I noticed that when you place your scalloped-edged layers down you only put glue on the outside edge. I think I’m using too much glue as I’m swiping it across the middle of the die cut as well. Perhaps that’s why I get the occasional glue line showing
Thanks so much, Mary. Less is definitely more where glue is concerned. I think too much glue always makes the paper/card ripple. Try not to use too much glue but do remember to to press the surfaces together well so that they bond well. I hope that helps :)
Lovely and informative, as usual. Let me know if when making the boxes that these dies would fit in my regular Big Shot or I would need a bigger die cutting machine. Thanks again, for all you do and loved your projects.
Hi Patricia, I have had a big clear up since I made these and will have to look for them to measure. I'm so sorry. I will have to measure for my videos in future. I always mean to but get busy with the make and forget.
No problem if too much trouble to locate them then don't bother. I just wonder how big they are when done and also if I can use my old Big Shot to cut the pieces. I think I checked out the size of the dies and it was okay but also they use mm and we need inches shown is possible. @@ruthhamilton8025
So pleased to hear your husband has recovered. Great tutorials as usual. Love your use of colours.

My favorite color is Purple. I hope you've left a list.
I don't use a lot of purple but I like it! I have left the names in the video. I hope that helps. If you need a list, just shout!

@@ruthhamilton8025 thank you so much for the guidance. I will definitely use less glue after seeing how well you add your mats and layers.

Thanks very much, Patricia. The largest dies in the et would definitely be too big for the big shot.
Thanks so much for the information. @@ruthhamilton8025
Thank you for this video. I ordered the heart box recently-do you know if the side panel for this will work on the heart box? Thank you
You're welcome. Yes, the side panels are interchangeable between the 3 sets :)
Well Thx Miss Ruth. Can ya tell me which Mirror card is that lage lace?
It was Petal Pink for the 8x8 Floral shaped card and Purple Mist and Soft Amethyst Satin card for the Hexagonal Card
Also, how big are the boxes when completed in inches? Thanks.
