I love this song and that bass beat. This music is unique! And kurk's sax solo, at the end, is just perfect. I can hear the lamentation of it - the sax is practily talking - amazing! Best show ever!Legendary!
I've spent all afternoon looking for this particular version. This is my favourite version of Rendez-Vous IV. I love the fretless bass guitar work in it. The choir and the sax solo at the end is life-affirming.

And perhaps aquire other concerts of his that have been released since then. In addition, I owned a couple of Jarres' live concerts on cassette tapes, back before CD's began to be produced. Think about that ! C/O RDRT.

Eu era criança (tinha dez anos) e fiquei apaixonado por esta música! Por causa dela comecei a estudar teclado. Ótimos tempos!

Wonderful song, amazing performance... People who had enough luck to be there surely got something to remember forever. This is probably my favourite version of Rendez-Vous IV, because its unique feeling: it makes you really feel the atmosphere of the concert. And Kirk Whalum on the saxophone added a beautiful ending solo. Good times when a great event could happen in France without fear of terrorist actions! :(
