At first, I only saw episode 1044 of One Piece and painted it.
I tried to repaint after seeing episode 1045 of One Piece.
This is the color I imagined.

I'm so impressed that you went back to repaint it the real color after you read the manga! You're quite inspirational!
I think whenever a mangaka reveals a new form the authors should always color that one individual panel so fanart can be made that is accurate and not have to wait 2 - weeks for clarification on the colors
Or like 10 years for the case of robin in the anime
The dude really deserved to be mentioned by Oda-san in the SBS

This is the original bro, It was confirmed in Chapter 1045 that Luffy's hair and clothes turn white in Gear 5/Zoan Mode
The funny thing is when he made original I said his hair and clothes were white and 2 days later...

I came back to watch this 2 years old video back. How fast time goes by. Its funny when Gear 5 Luffy was introduced we all assume that he will have the color of the sun, bright yellow and orange all over, and then Oda-sensei immediately surprised us with the glorious all white color Luffy in the next chapter 😂😂.

That volume cover is just beautiful, so glad I started reading One Piece two years ago. Started it after finishing Lord of The Rings. From one legend to another.
EDIT: I'm on anime I spoiled 1045 for myself BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!!!!!!!!!! I love that this is Luffy's real ability it changes the game so much, and it's not gritty or strong or whatever. I just have a big dumb ol smile on my face whenever I see the panels of Luffy smiling, laughing, and kicking Kaido's ass. I love this series it makes me feel like a kid again.
You should look up some of the different moments between anime and manga. At least as far as you've gotten. It makes certain things better... like sajis backstory.

he is completly white im pretty sure since his ability is hinted to be resin instead of rubber *edit* i meant hinted from before chapters and yes i am up to ch. 1046 of one piece

@@kempine7249 i think it is more like luffy calling it Gear 5, but kaido who knows more about devil fruit powers said that actually it is the devil fruit power awakened. I think kaido is right but whatever, luffy does not care and will continue calling it as gear 5 xD
Luffy is a zoan type (the sun god Nika was a rubber man just like Luffy) and it's his akuma no mi awakened, which is a new power up that Luffy called Gear 5th. It's still a technique.
