I'm a fairly new to sculpting. I've used to struggle a lot with face, mouth and eyes in particular. After watching a lot of tutorials from professional sculptors I was more and more confused. Then I've watched one of your videos and it just clicked. Now my sculpting skills development plan is just: watch one of your videos for a kickstart, study the anatomy and practice. Your techniques are in someway so intuitive. I feel, like I progressed a lot with your help. And for that I would like to thank you :D

hey man when adding fingers by curve tube how do you at the end convert them to same resulution and polygons as rest of model? i started my model a dynamesh sphere. Also when about to create fingers it gives a message to freeze subdivisions which i do the curve tube does not work unless i do so.
@@SpeedChar why? when looking at our hand dont we see in perspective? also for the female face you did most of it in perspective. im kind of confused by when to use it.
@@wolfoseses4349 for small objects like the hand and head, the perspective should be very small. And for the hand it doesn't matter if you have it on or of, but for the head it should be on.

@@FormJune The thing about the feet is that they are way down from the interesting part which is the face and hands. Also on most characters are hidden by boots of some sort. You can't use your hands as reference if you've got no hands OR you have small fat leperchaun ones. 😂 Don't see no tendons on mine unless I flex it really hard.
your channel has helped me improve my 3d sculpting so much, honestly one of the best channels for sculpting. big props

Hold Control and move it. It has to be without subdivisions though.

I could do that yep. I have other things in mind first, but this could be one good topic for a tutorial too :). Thanks.
Niko didn't know that he created a tutorial for sculpting The Thing from the Addams family :D

So you probably have subdivisions by accident :).
@@SpeedChar yeah but fingers when you start are low polygons compared to rest of your hand model and in the end same as rest.
@@ahsengilani658 yeah, because I have dynameshed in a higher setting to avoid sticking the fingers to each other.

when working on the hand should you use perspective or orthographic?
I would use orthographic for the most of the process and at the end maybe a perspective for the final touches.
@@SpeedChar why? when looking at our hand dont we see in perspective? also for the female face you did most of it in perspective. im kind of confused by when to use it.
@@wolfoseses4349 for small objects like the hand and head, the perspective should be very small. And for the hand it doesn't matter if you have it on or of, but for the head it should be on.
so when you say small you mean the difference in how much it changes what you see? so i guess you should use perspective with the feet and body.
Great video. Can you do one on sculpting a fist?
That is not a problem at all. Probably i will very soon.
Haha omg you're so funny :D Thanks for tutorial!
How you connect fingers and hand use dynamesh..?
Yes :)
thank you too
15:49 how do you make the fingers to blend with the palm? i tried it and the finger look out of place
Just dynameshing and smoothing with Shift.
@@SpeedChar Thank you so much dude!! I really love your tutorial, they're really helpful!
@@NoOne-hl2eo Hey Im having the same issue here. Did you just click dynamesh and the fingers merged into the palm? If so its not working for me.
Why i use dynamesh to connect the object..my detail is gone..😢
You can put a better resolution on your dynamesh, for hand and feet you should go high.
Female body\head tutorial is more appealing to me than Foot Tutorial...but maybe that's just me ;)
how u make that copy? 12:03
whenever i dynamesh finger or toes or lips it fills the gap why? and how to get rid of it?
Dynamesh with higher number
