So beautiful and tender...and when you sing, I understand the words and literally feel the meaning of the song. Beautiful, Tim! Love you! Always so proud of you!
Rather on the lower end of the vocal register-it adds so much caramel and power to those milky smooth, tasty harmonies. Melts in your mouth like a good chocolate!! Love this one, Mr. Waurick!!
BTW I just commented on a Keepsake video that I could see you in the background of a 2011 video. So Happy to see and hear all the great content you are creating. My Dad was an almost 50 year Barbershopper from the North East District in Massachusetts and had the pleasure of hosting Keepsake at our house and having them sing this song in our living room. I then drove them in a Limo to Logan airport the next day as they sang Easy Street in the back.
I used to a memeber of Montreal city voice. When I first heard the song track and was told that all four part were from one person, i was shocked. It is like a sound from heaven. Last Chirtmas, i finally saw you sang at Concert of Acapella showcase. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you for your beautiful voice.
awwww what a beautiful song, the way you sing and perform ballads makes them so magical and beautiful Tim! I love barbershop for the romantic lyrics, and in my chorus I always smile by thinking we are all singing for the gal we love! Keep singing Tim!
I learned this song in 8 days as a new barbershopper and sang in on my first show in June of 2018, having been a member for just a few weeks. I've always loved it.
as background: my dad used to play the bobby vinton album this song is on in the car whenever we’d go somewhere. He passed last march, so this was really healing too. Thanks for your beautiful music!
I never stop being impressed by your singing. It's incredible how clear and stable your intonation can be, especially with a slower tempo. I would almost expect something this technically proficient to sound a bit lifeless, but I'm consistently left in sheer awe from the musicality and heart in your performances. Thank you!
I have loved this gem ever since I heard The Incredible Roger Ross, Mighty Awesome Joe, Gentleman Don Barnick, and The Amazing Tony DeRosa sing this years ago in Keepsake! Now, we all have another beautiful version of this! Oh, my heart's full of joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love your precision on the 16th notes they sound so amazing! 0:47 you especially make the leads resolving line so good! and personally love singing the bari part
My favorite song back in 1963 or so. I must have played it 20 times on a restaurant jukebox in New Mexico while we stopped for dinner on a Sunday Drive. The owner paid my dad $20 to stop giving me dimes.
❤I love all these!!!!! Just wondering…. Sounds like you sang a different baritone line on the tag than what is in the transcription. Wondering how you decide to create variables in the arrangements to touch different colors in the harmony that is mostly expected (the notes on the page) to be “barbershop harmony”
Beautiful. In measures 35 and 36, the tenor and bari are doing slightly different lines than what's written. The bari slides from G to Eb in 35, then walks up Eb F G Ab in 36. The tenor slides up from Eb to G in 35, then walks it down G F Eb F in 36.
You have *so much* voice, you can fully pronounce the *vowels* which too many singers just don't do. When you did the extraordinarily beautiful "Barbershop Quartet Day" with Kim Newcomb, distinguishing the vowels is the only difference I could tell between you---but one can tell.
Amazing video! I could be totally wrong but is there some issue with the transcription in the last page of music in the t1 part? It doesnt seem like it matches up. Awesome singing though.
Holy Shit! Why could I figure out which Tim was signing the Bass part. I know I heard a sustained note but not able to figure out which Tim did it. This is like the internet Blue/Pink dress question. Tim please clarify.
Tim - You're amazing, as always -- but in my head this song will forever be sung by Isabella Rossellini in the David Lynch film of the same name. The creepy weirdness of the film is too embedded in my brain.
Did I hear it wrong? It sounds like you're singing a slightly different baritone line than the one written in the last 5 or 6 measures. Dost mine ears deceive me? :)

An incredible example of how a slow tempo does not mean “boring”. This had real groove and drive. Absolutely amazing!
Thanks so much!! Blue Velvet is all about the groove! I appreciate the kind words!
No screaming high parts, no 50-second post, no tricks, just a simple arrangement performed absolutely beautifully. Thanks, Tim!
So beautiful, so smooth. The only thing you can't do with your amazing voice is sing a sour note. Thank you for this gorgeous interpretation. ❤
Awww thank you! Oh, trust me, I've had plenty of sour notes I wish I could get back! 🤣 Thanks again!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS TIM THANK YOU SO MUCH
So beautiful and tender...and when you sing, I understand the words and literally feel the meaning of the song. Beautiful, Tim! Love you! Always so proud of you!
Tim does that with every song I have ever heard him sing.
Rather on the lower end of the vocal register-it adds so much caramel and power to those milky smooth, tasty harmonies. Melts in your mouth like a good chocolate!!
Love this one, Mr. Waurick!!
Class
Thank you!
Please do Moon River!! I just know you could make the absolute most heart-wrenching and gorgeous rendition
Absolutely beautiful. All the feels. Thanks again Tim!
Thank you!!!
Soooooo Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautifully done!! One of my mother's favorite songs, as she actually went out on a couple of dates with Bobby Vinton MANY years ago!!
Sometimes simple and elegant is just what I need. Nice!

What an incredible story, thank you for sharing!
I’ll bet there isn’t 10 people in the world that can do what you do. Phenomenal
So absolutely amazing ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

A prime example of how a ballad should be done. Looking forward to next week, Tim!
Oh gosh....sitting here with a smile on my face and tears in my eyes....brought back so many memories......thanks, Tim....
Stellar. I’ll never get over how perfectly tender your singing is. Always love your songs Tim :)
Thanks so much!! I really appreciate that. It's easy to just go after crazy high notes, but I really love singing the softer tender songs.
The sound you make when you sing “a warm memory” is simply perphhhfectshun!!! It’s what I call an “ear tickle”! Love barbershop!
Thank you..! You ended my search for the song from that video I was looking for. xD
Nah, but seriously. I love your tags! Keep 'em coming! Please.!
awwww what a beautiful song, the way you sing and perform ballads makes them so magical and beautiful Tim! I love barbershop for the romantic lyrics, and in my chorus I always smile by thinking we are all singing for the gal we love! Keep singing Tim!
Thank you so much!! And that's a great way to approach those types of songs.
Vowel Product is simply off the charts!
Such a lovely song with beautifully rung chords. So fantastic!
Very nice 👍🏼

i have been saying for so long someone needs to do this song… i was SO right. Thank you, Tim!
as background: my dad used to play the bobby vinton album this song is on in the car whenever we’d go somewhere. He passed last march, so this was really healing too. Thanks for your beautiful music!
❤ lovely, Tim!!
This felt like listening to heaven
BRAVO!!!!!

Wow.
So awesome Tim
Thanks, Scott!
Thanks for posting. Spent 13 hours doing homework and lab reports yesterday and have to continue today. Just what I needed! :)
Really nice arrangement with a few interesting chord choices. Excellent performance!
The contrast of dynamics in this one is so impressive. Awesome stuff as always man!
Absolutely luscious. Very tasteee!!
One of my all-time favorite Keepsake songs! Thank you!!
Very Nice, Tim. Thank you for sharing.
Really enjoyed this one! Though I did watch it a bit late...
Absolutely beautiful Tim my music director admires your voice
Thank you, Josh!! And tell your chorus director I said thanks!
Awesome Tim!!!! Love you!!❤
So heartfelt! Woah!!
Thank you! 😃

Check bari transcription in the tag
Beautiful. In measures 35 and 36, the tenor and bari are doing slightly different lines than what's written. The bari slides from G to Eb in 35, then walks up Eb F G Ab in 36. The tenor slides up from Eb to G in 35, then walks it down G F Eb F in 36.
I was so confused at first I was like did I lose my sense of pitch lol
This guy needs to stop….
SOUNDING SO BEAUTIFUL

seeing "blue" makes me want to hear a blue skies barbershop arrangement
Amazing video! I could be totally wrong but is there some issue with the transcription in the last page of music in the t1 part? It doesnt seem like it matches up. Awesome singing though.
hahaha thanks for noticing. There was a different version of the tag and I accidentally used the music for the wrong one! Can't believe I missed it.
Holy Shit! Why could I figure out which Tim was signing the Bass part. I know I heard a sustained note but not able to figure out which Tim did it. This is like the internet Blue/Pink dress question. Tim please clarify.
Roses are red
Violets are blue
No one can pull off tags
Quite like you
haha thank you, my friend!
You mean velvet is blue? ;)
Tim - You're amazing, as always -- but in my head this song will forever be sung by Isabella Rossellini in the David Lynch film of the same name. The creepy weirdness of the film is too embedded in my brain.
i love bobby vinton
We are still waiting for remake of 9 octaves...
PLEASE DO I WANNA BE LIKE YOU NEXT IT WOULD MAKE MY BIRTHDAY
Way back in the day our chorus sang this and was docked hard by MUS. Ridiculous to think this was “unacceptable”.
Did I hear it wrong? It sounds like you're singing a slightly different baritone line than the one written in the last 5 or 6 measures. Dost mine ears deceive me? :)
