I think the sax hits just perfectly. Amuro didn't want Lalah to die. The fight scene conveyed an excellent version of how much emotion Amuro really feels when fighting Char
Like many people, I saw the OG series as a three-part movie. There was a very real chance that Operation Star One was going to be a one-way ticket for everyone, especially after Sleggar was killed at Solomon. But somehow, some way, they all managed to miraculously pull through. Although the White Base and Gundam were destroyed, it was the people in them that we actually cared about. This song really captured the catharsis of the moment.
Even better that it plays as the regular music for the "Encounters in Space" level when the Gundam/Zeong fight kicks into high gear. And I was REALLY hoping it would. The occasional enemies between you and the battle might not be difficult, but it went a long way towards adding to the atmosphere of A Bao A Qu. I was seeing the actual images from the movie play in my head, even as I was playing the game.
Was this version of the song made for the game specifically? I've been looking for it everywhere but only found the original Meguriai and other versions so i assume it's a new one?
I think it was. My theory is because it would have taken longer to have someone sing it and capture the same energy as it originally did. In the end, I think it turned out fantastic as an instrumental cover of this song.
That Sax though.. Idk why this hits so hard.
Thr sax and the original being mix together makes it more amazing together
I don’t hear a sax, I just hear a voice saying he wants to be where his sweetheart is.

To this day, purely through strength of association, this song makes me think of SD Gundam G Generation Advance on the GBA.
