I love this reunion with SunnyDahye! It is great to see her again on your channel, Joan. She is the perfect guest for this topic, regarding beauty procedures. This was very informative and I loved listening to both of your insights. Thank you, thank you to the both of you, Joan and SunnyDahye! 😄🤩😍💝💕🩷💐
(1) Thanks for another fascinating episode, Joan. Sunny surely was the perfect guest to invite for this one! (2) So glad to hear that your TMJ is better now, Joan. We all remember how much you suffered with it in the past. (3) Oh, you women...stressing over every little line and imperfection. Smile lines and eye creases add character to a face, don't they? Besides, Joan, your particular face is one of the prettiest I've ever seen. (4) My main gal, Joni Mitchell, has a song whose title it would be well to take to heart: "Happiness Is the Best Face-lift"! 😘
I’m coming back to rewatch this video of the series and others too… it’s like a library with useful and interesting info. And just really pleasant to listen ❤
So interesting! As you say, I had no idea all of these procedures existed! No wonder kpop idols and actors look so perfect, and even those who haven’t had drastic plastic surgery look like them but an enhanced version than their childhood photos. I still don’t think I would personally get any of it done, not right now anyway, but i can totally understand if you are in the public eye, and/or have the money to do it then I think there’s no harm in looking slightly different, slightly prettier! This appeals more to me because even when I was younger and more insecure about my Asian features in a western country, I also never wanted plastic surgery to change that because it would feel strange and probably freak me out if I looked that different and couldn’t recognise myself.
I love your videos Joan! It would be great to see some Seoul vlogs again. Especially since so much has changed in the past years. I'll take whatever I can get but I really do miss them.
Relating to the subject of this episode, I agree that the best option seems to be moisturizing and sunscreen. I never did anything to my skin due to not having access to decent products and my skin reacts really quickly to products that don't work( i always lived in small areas) and when I moved to Korea I had to learn to do skin care. I used to find it a hassle in the beginning but now it is my way of starting the day and the most relaxing way to end my day.
Loved this video cuz you're both very honest about it. I have nothing against Plastic surgery/procedures , in fact, I also got my nose and double eyelid surgery few years back. Here in korea, almost 90% of people around me have gotten minor procedures done on their face. I can hardly mention a few people who haven't got anything done. I guess its a pretty normal thing here in Korea as the surgeries performed by surgeons are very natural looking like if you look at me , you'll think i'm a natural too. That's just how advanced and cool korea is ahead of when it comes to PS/Procedures. I'm only saying this because i noticed that in lot of street interview videos(where some koreans say 80% of koreans got work done on their face) and in the comments section SOME koreans get so insecure and say that its not true and yes to some certain extent i do believe cuz a good % of koreans are also born with double eyelids etc etc. But if we're all being honest, its true that most people have gotten even minor work done on their face. There is nothing wrong with getting PS so idk why they feel insecure to admit they got it.
Joan im really curious what topic will you bring to the table with IVANNN❤❤ kinda miss 365 but still grateful that you are still posting thank youu. ❤❤ love from malaysia xoxo
so glad i watched this. i'm turning 27 this year, my smile lines are starting to show and i feel super insecure about it. i have heard many things about fillers and i thought i was sure i didn't wanna get any, until i saw my smile lines for the first time. but i guess i just wont get it. and also supressing laugh seems so...sad for some reason
Ohhh girl said hair removal and my ears just opened right up. If I ever get there i’d definetly try it out cus it’s expensive here 😢 Thanks to both of you for the explanations and it’s always great to hear your opinions ❤
Joan please please make an episode with Edward Avila🥺 somehow I found out by chance that you know each other, and I think it will be a wonderful episode🌟
ooo nooo if you have TMJ i think its better to go to a specialist who specializes in jaws, and can fix the true issue. fillers, are just momentarly aid
Thank you for sharing information 😂🫰🏻 till now I'm doing a little bit of botox, pink glow and this year tried with "profhilo"...but the procedure for dark circles sounds very interesting (cause its real the increasing of dark circles post 30 hahaha)
🤍🫣thank you for having me❤❤
