Not just the guitar and vocals. The piano, guitar and vocals just come together and formed a beautiful melody. Just like how the 3 characters formed together as a band and had their shares of great memories.
I finished watching the anime half a year ago and when I heard this song all the emotions came flooding back and I was tearing up. This is my favorite Japanese song, mainly because it's so heart-breaking if you know the true meaning of the lyrics and how much it meant for the members.

The first time I watched this anime I didn’t really like it. After watching it again, I have to say I’ve learned to appreciate it a lot more, I’d even go as far to say I like it a lot now. It is a very, VERY accurate portrayal of how most high school love goes. The lies, betrayal and selfish tendencies of situations like this were depicted perfectly and in a way that makes you feel for each character, especially if you have been in a similar situation during high school or college. May not be an anime for everyone but definitely worth the watch. 👏🏻

+Mark Steven Luber For a while there was actually a UA-cam video of the scene at the ending of episode 1. I'm kind of sad it seems to have been removed (I can't find it anymore). Even this version is lacking the context of that scene, which for me is one of the most moving in the entire anime.

i feel like they should’ve based the importance off of friendship instead of relationship in the end of the anime. Sacrifices. no relationship is as important as friendship from my opinion especially from bands. just my opinion

She was incredibly selfish and forced her way into the relantionship cuz she knew he wouldnt prioritize his feelings over hers, plus he had no idea kazu even liked him has a friend. But she not only knew, but saw kazu kiss him, and forced the relantionship and the kiss 30 mins after seeing that shit. I hated how the mc did things, should have broken up instead of cheating, but jesus i hate what she did. She wanted them to be together forever, yet she probably chose the only path that wouldnt end well and would only create pain.
I actually learned it to play on piano now i connected this vid on my surround speakers playing with my piano. Feels like i was on the stage with them in the anime ❤❤❤

podracer35 well the long story how I found it was from a guy on osu who linked me websites where he found them. They were like Japanese music search engine websites or somethings. So you prob wouldn't have found them lol. Im pretty sure its the vocals from the regular version of white album being sung with Setsuna. I at first thought it was a different version but after lots of listening, im pretty sure they are the same, just vocals extracted and put with the instruments.
Aw, it's a shame it's not an official version, but this is probably the next best thing!! (I'm still amazed that there have been so many different CDs, but none have this version of White Album)
