What you're calling a Shrader valve is a cap. If the valve itself leaks it is loose or compromised change it out.

You should have the low side gauge off before you open the tank

Hi, How can I remove the air suspension compressor and put in a new one and not lose the nitrogen when I disconnect the hoses? Jeep Grand cherokee sumit 2014

I've never worked on a Jeep's air suspension, but here's my best guess: You'll lose the nitrogen when disconnecting the hoses--no way to avoid that. You'll have to recharge it after putting in the new compressor. The Air compressor probably requires a special fitting to charge it, so you'll have to get the fitting to plug into the end of a setup similar to mine in the video.
