My brother is diagnosed with obstructive jaundice. CT, MRCP, ERCP, biopsy reports suggest that the obstruction is malignant. He needs a surgery. However, surgeon told us that surgery can be done only after the bilirubin is reduced to 10 mg/dl. It's as high as 45.8 mg/dl on 26/03/22. My question is about the post surgery prognosis.
