I'm 24, turning 25 next summer and I made the plan of being a 'real grown up' at 25, so I also wan't to make a habit of cleaning, wan't to be more responsible and sleeping in is also a huge problem still :D can you recommend any motivational videos for not sleeping so long? :)
Omg yes! I’m 21 and I used to be the same way!!! Sleeping in, having everything messy, ect. Ect. Lol... I took Brittny’s sleeping advices, cleaning advices, and everything else lol. Now I’m way cleaner than I have ever been! Lol... It didn’t happen over night, but I’m glad I have come this far!!! ☺️☺️☺️
I am a born neat freak and these are all the tips I live by. I refuse to come home to a messy house after a stressful day and these little few minute tips make such a huge difference on my overall peace of mind. One of my goals is to banish “junk mail clutter” from my home. Purchased a small shredder and it malfunctioned after 1 5 minutes use. Will exchange it and keep shredding because I think it’s the most efficient method.

Cleaning the toilet every day makes a big difference in helping keep the bathroom clean. Keep a roll of paper towels in the bathroom along with a bottle of disinfectant cleaning spray. After using the toilet, spray the toilet and bowl and wipe it down with a paper towel and scour it with the brush. Toss the paper towel in the trash. It takes about 45 seconds and you're toilet is always fresh and clean. And there's nothing better than the feeling of sitting on a fresh clean toilet.
When I watched your videos, it inspired and motivated me to be tidy, neat, organized and clean. Through your videos, I made a huge transformation and started helping in household chores at least every week. Thank you, VasseurBeauty!

Although I’m not perfect at it, my best friend of 20 years came to visit and she was amazed. Thank you for sharing your secrets with us!
Your dealing with the dishwasher and dishes immediately really has helped me. I go one extra step. When I load my dishwasher I am sorting out at the same time. I load all my flatware together in groups. All my forks get loaded in same basket area, all the spoons together and same with the knives. When I unload I can just grab all the forks at once and put them in the drawer divider then the spoons all get grabbed at the same time. and put away. all the dinner plates load together etc. Unloading was always my biggest peeve. I don't even mind anymore. I am really enjoying your channel. In my house if I don't do it it doesn't get done. I am getting things DONE.

Great video - thank you! Like others have mentioned I'm really glad that you mentioned that your current state of cleanliness is a result of your own personal growth! An idea for your dog - you can place, you, your dog, and your robot vacuum in a bathroom and first start by keeping it turned off until he gets used to it. Then when he's calm when it's turned off, you then can turn it on briefly, then turn it back off again. Again until he gets used to it. Keep doing that until he loses all fear of the vacuum. Just my two cents.
my whole flat is a mess at the moment! I have had no motivation to tidy up lately after having a couple of stressful months and late working nights. I have a busy weekend with a hen do coming up but next weekend I am using a combination of your tips and tricks from you videos to help me tidy and clean. A couple years ago I came across this video, I think it was the first video I ever saw from your channel and ever since, 'Brittany' has become a household name. I don't have any other people named Brittany in my life, so when I mention to my husband how Brittany suggests something he knows exactly who I'm talking about 😂. I also used to be a slob, but worse, I was a content slob. I hated cleaning and I was happy living in my messiness. I don't do that anymore. I'm really glad I came across your channel. Since I had my son and he got big enough to pick up his own toys, I've been implementing good cleaning habits into his routines. My mom always cleaned up after me when I was little and that just caused me to become lazy and expect to always have someone keeping house around me. Boy, was I rudely awakened from THAT dream. Thanks in large part to you, I'm breaking the messy generational curse lol.
Preparing stuff and clothes the night before is my routine since I was young. I do that so I wont forget anything the next day and just grab the stuff I needed for that day and straight to the door out. Its a nice habit not only every night for next day but prior of every task and event your planning ahead.

Thank you for these tips! They are incredibly useful. As someone said below, I am also a 26 year old who up until last year was a complete mess (as a person and my surroundings). I've come a long way in the last year and in my new apartment, I always try to keep things clean and tidy. Keeping it clean comes easy to me now, but not tidy- that's omething I still struggle with. But I am taking small steps and hopefully I can be a very tidy person as well. The "keep the countertops clear" was an extremely useful tip for me :)

All these tips are great and I've used some of them since living in my own apartment. HOWEVER, how are you supposed to get your husband on the same page ??!? I feel like I can do all these things but I end up having to pick up after my husband. Any tips for that😜
I do these tips as well (before this video) and let me tell you..... I pick up after my hubby and 2 older boys and baby. It gets stressful but it all becomes routine. Just always tell you self do it now not later❤️
But have a day set when your hubby could clean and do everything for you! We put a lot of ourselves into our homes and they need to appreciate us and doing it themselves will def make them realize how blessed they are. Or have him do it all in one day and see how stressful/busy it gets and maybe he'll change his ways to make it easier on you! (Been married 11 years and let me tell you it'll help!)
I use the same habit while I cook, I learned it from my dad. It's really nice when you're done you can eat your food and not worry about washing a kitchen full of dishes when you're finished!

Your kitchen is beautiful! :) We have two small children so we try to clean a little bit each day or it seems like things very easily get out of hand. The laundry is never ending -- we typically do 2 to 3 loads a day! My wife and I divide + conquer so we can work through the household chores quicker -- we make a great team!

Thank you for these tips! They are incredibly useful. As someone said below, I am also a 26 year old who up until last year was a complete mess (as a person and my surroundings). I've come a long way in the last year and in my new apartment, I always try to keep things clean and tidy. Keeping it clean comes easy to me now, but not tidy- that's omething I still struggle with. But I am taking small steps and hopefully I can be a very tidy person as well. The "keep the countertops clear" was an extremely useful tip for me :)

All these tips are great and I've used some of them since living in my own apartment. HOWEVER, how are you supposed to get your husband on the same page ??!? I feel like I can do all these things but I end up having to pick up after my husband. Any tips for that😜

I do these tips as well (before this video) and let me tell you..... I pick up after my hubby and 2 older boys and baby. It gets stressful but it all becomes routine. Just always tell you self do it now not later❤️
But have a day set when your hubby could clean and do everything for you! We put a lot of ourselves into our homes and they need to appreciate us and doing it themselves will def make them realize how blessed they are. Or have him do it all in one day and see how stressful/busy it gets and maybe he'll change his ways to make it easier on you! (Been married 11 years and let me tell you it'll help!)

I use the same habit while I cook, I learned it from my dad. It's really nice when you're done you can eat your food and not worry about washing a kitchen full of dishes when you're finished!

Your kitchen is beautiful! :) We have two small children so we try to clean a little bit each day or it seems like things very easily get out of hand. The laundry is never ending -- we typically do 2 to 3 loads a day! My wife and I divide + conquer so we can work through the household chores quicker -- we make a great team!

I recently discovered your videos and I have to say they are amazing. I have implement some of your ideas to my daily routine and my house has never looked this organized. I even implemented the folding clothing method on my boyfriends t-shirt drawers and he loved it. Keep the good videos rolling.
